Foxtail hadn't ment to ignore Blizz, but Foxtail had turn halfway through what she was signing and she didn't trust her emotions right now to ask Blizz to repeat. When Foxtail made it to the sleeping cave, she immediately went to her alcove and curled up in it, her back facing the room. She took one of the scrolls in her cubby and tried to read it, but couldn't focus her mind enough to understand the words. She sighed and rolled the scroll back up, wrapped her wings around herself and closed her eyes.

North
*Yknow, I think I preferred the whole everyone mocking my maturity thing to this... tensions are so high right now, its not surprising considering weve been locked away with the same few dragons for our whole lives with the pressure of some old prophecy constantly being pushed into us* North sighed. *Blizz, I know our caretakers are trying to protect us... but they know about as much of the prophecy as we do, and how are we supposed to fulfill our destiny from in here? We were chosen for a reason* North said, a dangerous smirk forming on her face.

*What do you say we get the others and leave, or just the two of us, maybe just for a few hours and then we can come back with our knowledge of the outside world* North said quietly now that the two were alone in the library


Puddle
*Psst, Rooster, wait up* Puddle rolled back onto his legs and slinked after Rooster. *Whats wrong? You seem really grumpy today... wanna talk about it?* Puddle asked innocently. The argument going on nearby ha disrupted him from his nap a while ago. *Maybe we can play some marbles and talk about it?* the groggy seawing suggested.

Marbles were Puddles favorite game because he always won, it was literally impossible to beat him, ever since they were four, he even said it himself *These lucky marbles will let me win every game*

(Also, for the sake of story and drama, Puddle has no clue about his animus abilities, he accidentally enchanted his marbles one day and no one really realized it)

Blizz:

Blizz nodded stiffly. She leened in a little not wanting to be rude. *I want to go just me and you for a bit, I don't want to drag everyone else along, especially because I just need a little bit of a break from the rest of us.*, She signed almost too quickly to read, hopping North would get what she meaned. *Also, I'm sorry if I seem mean or annoying.*

Rooster:
Rooster nodded, waiting for the smaller Pluddle to catch up. "I do want to talk about it, and a game of !marbles would be nice." , He replied, sitting down and lighting a torch. He had always trusted Puddle with his secrets, he didn't know why but he took a liking to the goofy Seawing. Rooster didn't know why, he found releif in talking with him.
((That would kind of be funny, Puddle will become the Marbles world champion with that quirk. I kind of imagine Puddle kind of like a corgi compared to Rooster who I think of being like a Greatdane in some ways.)

North
*Nah, I get what youre talking about... er, well, you know why I mean* North hoped her comment about talking hadnt offended Blizz. *Its important to get time away from others, even your loved ones, because even if you love them, constantly being around them is bound to feel suffocating* North said.

*Now... we just gotta figure out how to sneak out... you can turn invisible, so you should have no issue being sneaky, but my scales are such a bright color... maybe if I smear mud all over myself, I can blend in better with the cave* North suggested. *Do you know of any secret exits?* North asked the rainwing


Puddle
*Cool, just dont get too upset when I totally kick your tail!* Puddle scrambled ahead excitedly, grabbing his bag of lucky marbles, and an extra one for Roosfer.*Ill give you the first move* Puddle offered with a goofy grin on his face. *Anyway, whats bothering you? Is it your argument with Foxtail? Or is it the fact youre a skywing, which are known for their big wings and strong flying, but you were named after a flightless bird?* Puddle tried to guess at the problem.

((Pfft, I like to think of puddle as the innocently adorable type, he just kind of goes with the flow, but constantly wants to be liked by everybody while interacting as little as possible while still not being lonely... so, something like a dog)

Blizz:
Blizz nodded. *I totally get what you mean, I'm beginning to get smothered by the others, I've talked to Rooster about it before, not wanting to hurt Jewelfinder's feelings.*, She jestured.

When asked about a way out she thought for a moment before remembering about a blocked of hole in the ceiling, that was probably light enough to lift up. *Remember that blocked off hole near the end of the darker part of the cavern?*, She signed excitedly. *You lift up the lid while I "destract" the old bags of scales.* Over the years she's learned how to shift her scales in a steady mesmerizing state that would put the victim to sleep, they usually forgot what happened though.

Rooster:
Rooster was about to flick the marble at a good angle but flicked it across the room instead when his name was made fun of. "In fact I was named after a bird who protects his hens." , He snorted playfully. "But besides the fact, I'm just upset because Blizz obviously needs a bit of a break and I let Foxtail and Jewelfinder know that Blizz wasn't everyone's entertainment, but they just got upset at the bitter truth of Blizz wanting to have some time that she isn't being crowded. I guess I upset Foxtail a bit too much, but I didn't mean to hurt her feelings." By now Rooster was staring at the marbles between them, his walls had lowered to show a soft dragon that only wanted his friends to be happy.
((I just find Puddle adorable in some ways, in wich my imagination of him being pretty short compared to Rooster who is basically a giraffe in my mind.)

North
*Okay Blizz. Lets go then, Im going to start my part of the job soon, so make sure the adults are all watching you, or at least somewhere else... Ill make the gap just big enough for us to squeeze through* North said.

North waited a few minutes for Blizz to get in position while she began two so move the boulder, trying to get in between the rock and the wall to force it apart.


Puddle
*Yeah, maybe you were a little blunt* Puddle suggested. *When you say something that might be taken in a bad way, you gotta sugarcoat it as much as possible, or just distract them from it in a completely different way* Puddle said, aiming his next marble slightly off, but it managed to roll into a much better position with his luck. *Yes!* he hissed quietly to himself at the amazing play.

*I guess its just hard to know how someone will take things... feelings are complicated, thats why I dont get involved with things... its too much to handle, just like this stupid prophecy... it seems a little too big for someone like me* Puddle sighed, letting his own worries drip through for a second. *But if Foxtail seems upset with you the next time you speak, apologize, even if you dont mean it, the gesture will at least make her a little less upset* Puddle offered his advice, snapping back to his goofy, trying to be helpful personality.

(I thought Jewelfinder was in the library with them...? I was having connection issues so my post with her awesome apology and everything didn't work. Oh well. Where can I jump in?)

Blizz:
Blizz bounded up to the Endlessly talking care takers, opening her wings after tugging on Gulf's wing. "What is it little one...?" , Serine asked, trailing off before she could say something about her bedtime. The other three dragons zoned out aswell, staring blankly at her changing scales. After a few more moments she left the sleeping dragons of the cave floor, hopping over them. She giggled, climbing out of the cave behind North, wings flapping so she could get out better. Blizz hasn't learned how to fly yet, so now was the chance, and she's excited to learn. *Easy Peasy. ", She gestured, giggling.

Rooster:
"I don't mean to be blunt, I can't help but be brutally honest, it's the truth but I don't know how to be all nice about something simple." , He sighed, taking his turn after him, getting a pretty good play aswell, he sighed before agreeing with Puddle again.

"Feelings suck, that's why I try and hide them. I feel bad for getting angry at Jewelfinder earlier." , Rooster confessed. "Your lucky you are able to get away from our "siblings" every once in a while. ", He chuckled. "I'll talk to her in the morning, thanks for giving the advice."

(Hence Blizz and North are out and no longer in range pretty much Jewel can discover the hypnotized caretakers, and interact with Jasper for a bit.)

Jewelfinder - F - Night

Jewelfinder wandered slowly back to her sleeping cave, a few scrolls held gently in her talons. One was A Guide to the Dragons of Pyrrhia. The other was on The Scorching. And the other one was about a little MudWing who saved her siblings in battle by using her wits. It was Jewelfinder's favorite story, and she often wished the others knew she would save them in battle long before she even thought about her own scales.
