Themed pets can't be dishwater, dishwater means washed out colours and weird colour mixes. Themed and purebred pets always have the right colours in the exact mixes a designer chose for them.
As others have said breeding restrictions won't work here, but I do agree with incentives will release.

Since dishwater is a subjective matter, I will stand by that themes can be dishwater pets just as much as regular pets, I have seen some themes that are absolutely clashing in various colors. I have also seen a great many themes use washed out colors and such.
Just because they are themed doesn't mean that they can't be dishwater or have clashy color schemes. It just means that someone liked the combo and it was picked for a theme.

Usualy dishwasher pure breed are in fact offspring comming from dyed parent, as there is no way to remove the tag even if the pet get custom coloration and that nowday pb get a tag too it is possible to see those happen sometime. As for tagged, keep in mind that the traits on them are rendomly generated, no tag is perfect and look good with evry traits.
It is perfectly fine not to like a themme but the word dishwasher is used to speak of a pet with bad / muddy coloring usualy due to excessive breeding in it's lineage or bad color generation when it first appear in the wild. ^-^
