I completely agree remember when I tried to buy a 6v max stat restricted trait ferikki for like 40k xD I thought people selling for 2 mil were just being unreasonable

My friend in real life was nagging me to buy her "pretty" dishwater pets and i was trying to tell her I could buy her actual PRETTY pets but she didn't listen welp :P she's a newbie

Here is what she said about my 4v majestics: "Ewww...those are so ugly...and bland too. Every time you breed them you get the same thing! That's so boring. Look at these pretty pets~ *points at the dishwater pets I bought for her* every time you breed them you get different looks and colors!"

Then, she said my recolor Emperor's dragon zolnixi recolor project which I spent 1 month on so far was "just the same boring old foxes"

At least she is enjoying herself! ^^

That is why we shouldn't have too many restrictions on breeding, so that new players can have fun breeding all sorts of varieties! ..Just as long as she doesn't expect to sell them for 1g! >.<

Just becuase something is more valuable doesn't mean people have to enjoy them the same...she can have her variety, and you can have restricted traits with bright colors! xD

in all honesty, i don't dislike 'releasers' and i understand their motives and goals and stuff, helping the economy, but i'm just getting really tired about people releasing my pets. i've been selling my good looking hatchlings for 500-1000 gold lately (depending on how many traits they have and their appearance) and time and time again people are buying and releasing them. i understand it, i do, -- its just that i feel Weird having to price my hatchlings any higher i guess? i sell them 'cheap' like i do because i think they're interesting enough to make them worthwhile for someone, but they aren't some super dedicated project or themes or anything special. i feel like pricing them higher would seem.. pretentious?

also, i really dislike the sob story on the releaser's club thread (i think thats the name). i really don't mean to seem rude, but.. these are pixels in a pet game. they disappear when they're released. i just think it's kind of.. not manipulative, but you get the point. lame

Actually, these pixels don't disappear at all when released~! You can find released pets via a setting in the advanced search option and they can be purchased back for 50 diamonds by the player who released them. I recently purchased a released pet from a player this way~ if the player wants the pet they just pay the pet owner who released the pet the 50 diamonds to get it back (or an in game reason, to hire a tracker to find and bring the pet back).

Edit: To add on to this after your previous post, I sell offspring from pairs that I carefully chose and colored for 5k per visible and 1k per carried at least and quite a few have sold. :) 500-1000g is something you can find just wandering around and opening a chest. It takes minimal effort to get the gold for that so it's easy to buy and release pets at that price point. If players really want a pet they'll save for and buy it.

So, I have a lot of questions about this thread.

1)Who would actually sell a 6vis for 3g? They are incredibly hard to make.

2)Uhhh...gold is so easy to get in large quantities. I routenely am above 20k

Everything else I'd want to say i think has been covered.

Also, backing up what some people have said, the economy would shatter without realeasing. And finally, getting upset when someone doesn't think like you or do what you want, is not a great thing. This is a very nice community, and I'd like it to stay that way.

Nowadays I usually just try to warn newbies so they dont get mad and leave because someone decided to release a bunch of pets they had (mostly I just say "oh just make sure you price high enough if you dont want your pet released")
I try not to bride, but unfortunatley I can get brutal :p

I honostly dont really pay much attention the that thread anymore lol-got busy running my own clubs.

However I dont Rey know of many clubs hat are like little cliques. The avi club I run is open to all, Tom's amnesia club is literally just a hangout for over social people now, the newbie welcoming thrwds ar reopen everywhere, etc.

Maybe quote the posts? Cuz I'm wondering where you got those from......if you dont got a source, then yeah. Kinda hard to believe it ad much. (Learning this from some issues going on over here irl)
