I finally caught a female Arctic Storm Griffi to go with my male. Because I love them so much, I used Greater Genetic Mutators on them both~ Here they are:

The stars only count the difficulty, and all pets have two stars. The COLOR determines the rarity, and the amount of gene points.
Green = uncommon = 1 gene point [one carry]
Blue = rare = 2 gene points [two carries, OR one visible]
Purple = epic = 4 gene points [four carries, OR one vis and two carries, OR two visible traits]
Anything above that is Legendary or Mythical, but those require a trap purchased from the diamond shop in order to capture.
Generally Festival Pets are quite desired, depending on the popularity of the pet itself. And Nixi's are quite popular. ^^ Uncommons Festival themed Zolnixi are definitely worth the catch. Even if you're not a fan of them yourself, chances are someone would happily buy it off you.

Can't remember how to make a picture of the critter show, or do the trick of quoting someone, and using what they wrote as a template for your pet... sooo... bleh.

Oooh, so that's the eggling auction pet, ne? He's AWESOME! I'll be keeping an eye on that to check out the mutation when he's older. :D
And just for future reference, to make it show and get the link you just have to do this:
1. right click the pet's image, and click "copy image url."
2. paste the image url into the forum's text box.
3. copy the url for the pet's page.
4. highlight the image url in the forum text box.
5. with the image url highlighted, click on the IMG= button in the top right of the forum box.
6. paste the pet page url into the IMG= popup and confirm.
