He has Frost runes, whirling snow, and the tribal design.
He is based off the frozen water and ice in and on a lake.
I can imagine his hatchling sliding across the ice.(cute)

Based on the winter sunset. When the sky is a purple-y blue-y colour, and it's gently snowing!

Here's my entry, and the story behind it. I grew up in Colorado, in a mountain valley just below the Continental Divide. One of my family holiday traditions was a cross country ski adventure that started at seven in the morning on Christmas Eve and finished around lunchtime. Our journeys occurred at elevations between ten and eleven thousand feet. Up there, with fifty or so inches of snow under your skis, the world becomes an enchanted, simple, perfect place. It's difficult to describe the clean, cold bite and taste of winter air at high elevation; the dazzle of unpolluted sky on fields of snow, where the only tracks were the ones I was making; or the feeling of gliding on skis among towering fir trees, each bough laden with deep snow. Those trees are what I'm trying to honor here: deep green wreathed in sparkling blue-white, enduring the winter in silent majesty. I added gold to the wings to complete the holiday feel, and to "crown the tree," so to speak.
