You manage to escape to the treeline, but they seem to be preparing something to go after you.


I'll try and find that river or some sort of water source, taking care to not leave any tracks. If I can get to a river it'll be harder to track me right?

His head turned a full 180 to look behind him and check the man had gone, before deciding it was safe. He seemed excited at the idea of treats.

Jaxith smiles and coos at Cherub for a moment, "Well lets get going then."
He heads out to look for someone for might be willing to do some enchanting.

Outside was warm, there was still some sun when it filtered through a break in the clouds. It didn't look like it was going to rain, as the clouds were white and still fluffy at the bottom. There were few people on the street outside your house and it was all quiet.

I feel a bit odd. I usually like a bit of quiet, but waking up without many sounds gives me this eerie feeling. I walk around the house a bit and wonder where my husky, Lightning, is.

There was nothing. Soon you reached a cobbled, neat path with lights on the edge to guide the way even as the sun started to set and the horizon get darker. After a bit more of walking, you found yourself at Veslon, the decorated gates open and the stone walls looking of new condition despite years of rain. The buildings were all made of stone and unpainted.

Luckily enough, you could hear water nearby and you rushed towards it, finding your hooves admittedly made a lot of sound and you could smell your own fearscent from before still on your fur. However, the progress you made was much faster than a human could as you were rather fast. The stream you found was small and easy to cross, finding that due to the dry ground you didn't actually leave any distinguishable hoofprints in the forest. There were no sounds apart from animals going about their daily lives and the water flowing against rocks.

You looked around Hericon and headed off to a shop you knew, it was small and run by a widow black cat with three tails. When you arrived, her three eyes looked at you, "Mr. What can I do for you today?" she jumped onto a higher shelf, looking down at you. Her shops was full of magical tat and potions, but she was most likely able to do certain enchantments as well.

Lightning seems to be out; he was rather sociable and sometimes just left out of the door (which he could open) and went off to help others or go play with other animals. No one was in the house apart from you and on discovery, your parents gerbil was running in his wheel in the bedroom. Apart from that, you were home alone and the house was quiet.

"Hello ma'am," He places the perfect bow he kept for himself on the counter, "I was wonderin' If you might be able to enchant this here bow for me? Me an' my little buddy Cherub here," he gestures to Cherub peeking out of his shirt, "Wanna go huntin' and I figured we ought to do it right."
