Starter -

The Labyrinth is a feared place, full of monsters and tributes. No one has managed to escape the place. It is a good thing, though, that there are chosen tributes. With every tribute, the monsters are held off for a month longer.
No one knows how the tributes are chosen, just that they are and there are two put in each month.
You were chosen, and now, here you are, inside the Labyrinth, your fate sealed as the doors slam shut behind you.
A light comes on, illuminating your surroundings.
The other tribute stands beside you, her nose wrinkling. "That's the third time I've bit my tongue in the last five minutes. It's a good thing I'm immune to my venom other wise I'd be dead by now. I'm Kenzie. Nice to meet you! Not exactly nice conditions we meet, but we shouldn't let that effect us." Kenzie says cheerfully, extending a hand in greeting.

The path splits in front of you:
Left - Seems to be a normal path - as normal as any path can be with the bones littered
Right - Seems to be some sort of party going on over here some where, but it's a normal path otherwise.

(It's fine. What is Kenzie anyway?)

He shook Kenzie's hand. "Nice to meet you too!" He gave her his "award winning" smile. At least that's what he calls it. "Let's go down the left path. I don't really care for parties."

(A shapeshifter snake.)

"Okay. Just warning you ahead of time, if I get a little slow, it's because I'm not used to having to survive in this environment. It's a bit colder than where I used to live. Truth be told, if it gets any colder, I'll probably get extremely lethargic." Kenzie says, trotting down the left path, humming to herself and smiling brightly, not seeming to care what happened.

(Wow okay. I was thinking like a Komodo dragon or something but a snake's cool too.)

"It can't be that bad, right? I mean, if you get lethargic just turn into a snake so I could try to carry you. Unless this form is lighter." He smiled, and followed her down the path.

(Komodo dragons don't have a poisonous bite, per say, it's more that the bacteria in their saliva slowly kills what it bites...)

"Eh, depends on how cold it gets, the consequences might be worse than just slowness." Kenzie says. "I think my snake form is lighter, but don't go around talking about weight and girls. Someone might get offended."

(Yeah, that's true.)

"Sorry if I offended you. I didn't mean it, really." He apologized profusely, and trying to change the subject, "Sp what kind of a snake do you transform into?"

Kenzie grins, shrugging of the appology, clearly not too offended by it, "Heard of a Black Mamba before?"

(I'm sorry I was gone. I had to find aquatic snail shops.)

"Yeah. So that's what you can turn into? Interesting. That's why you said you would already be dead if you weren't immune to your venom."

"Yup. Pretty dangerous creature. And proud to be one. I don't usually go around boasting about my snake powers - half the time it makes people run away from me. And I like people. I like company." Kenzie says.
