The young sylesti walked dangerously close to the edge of the cliff and suddenly a huge gust of wind blew him off. He flapped his small wings trying to get back up, but they weren't strong enough yet. As he was falling the small shape of his twin sister shot under him, allowing him to land for the most part unharmed, but causing herself to slam into the ground. He turned to her and howledto the sky. He let himself cry as golden dust fell around the two and slowly her eyes fluttered open

They were like two sides of a coin. Night and day. Earth and sky. Life and death. These siblings who loved eachother so dearly, yet hated eachother with a burning passion. But no matter what happened they would always be together.

(here's one wont let me do two at once)

She spread her wings, preparing to take flight, when the small noise of her pup brought her back to reality. She raced towards her nest to ease the small pup to find it was gone. She howled for the pups response, but there was none.

The great creature gave a howl. This was it. Fight or die. He had too win this battle. If he didn't all would be lost. He gave a hard stare and threw himself at his opponent as the cheers of other sylestias rung around him as he stalked around the arena. He had done this many times and he had yet to lose...

She watched as her mate went off to hunt. Doubtful that he would be back by next sun-high, she lay down with her pups and relaxed until the pups awoke.
