As I know I do not have much time I start a long walk down the sleep hill

The journey is quite annoying, but you soon reach around where the smoke came from. There are traces of a camp, and what appears to be a hasty clean up as well. Anything that created that fire appears to have left.

The ice makes it hard for you to get any traction. As you practically slide down the mountain, you realize that you can't slow down. With a steep overhang up ahead, you realize that you will need to stop... and fast.

I see a nearby tree branch and grab it. It pulls me to a slow stop.

He easily falls into the pattern, pouting and complaining that you messed up his hair. He briefly combs through it with his hands, but it looks no different.
"You can't be with them, but you are still human... but you still don't know anything, do you?" He looks cautious.

"Who cares, human, demon, weird flying dragon angel thing. As long as you don't give me any trouble I won't turn on ya" she grinned, not looking back at him, "Aren't you such a sweet little cookie" she taunted him for being so confused, "Just take life as it comes, don't need to make sense as long as you beat it up when it causes you trouble"

As you slow down, the tree bends under your weight. You hear the splitting crack of the branch, and you rapidly start gaining speed again.

They covered their tracks well, but there was one thing that was not accounted for. The dirt. On the leaves, there is a faint track of dirt, as though the leaves were turned up at one point. You look around the camp and notice that somethings were hidden as opposed to taken.

I know it is to late to stop myself completely so I roll into a ball as I fall off the edge!

He smiles a little bit. "You're a lot smarter than you look... and act." He laughs at his own comment. "I guess you're right, but humans have generalities for a reason..." His voice fades, but he shakes his head, unwilling to think about it. The sky has turned into an amber hue, showing that night will fall soon. "Do you need a place to stay?"
