Lightning seems to be out; he was rather sociable and sometimes just left out of the door (which he could open) and went off to help others or go play with other animals. No one was in the house apart from you and on discovery, your parents gerbil was running in his wheel in the bedroom. Apart from that, you were home alone and the house was quiet.

(Can Lightning be a she?)

Bored, I go outside. I head to the forest, not quite sure what I want to do there.

Your siblings, surprisingly, had no other ideas. Soon the six of you headed out, the walk maybe taking around half an hour (without the boys complaining, which was a miracle in itself) and soon you reached a wide, open lake. Nearby a herd of some kelpies were splashing around on one of the shores, not bothering anyone with their frolicking.

I watch them splash around, smiling. They look so graceful. I look at the sky, wondering if it's going to rain.

Luckily enough, you could hear water nearby and you rushed towards it, finding your hooves admittedly made a lot of sound and you could smell your own fearscent from before still on your fur. However, the progress you made was much faster than a human could as you were rather fast. The stream you found was small and easy to cross, finding that due to the dry ground you didn't actually leave any distinguishable hoofprints in the forest. There were no sounds apart from animals going about their daily lives and the water flowing against rocks.

I'll get into the stream (i'm guessing it's shallow?) and keep heading in the stream away from the town, hopefully the water will wash away my fearscent or at least lessen it.

He somewhat messily scrambled through the window to follow you, standing up in the room and brushing himself off, "Well, it is cosy at least. I'm surprised a demons parents can earn any money at all, although things may be different here in Juliko." he looked around, looking rather disinterested, "Do you know anything about those we saw today?"

I shake my head, "I haven't seen them before, and my parents try to keep the whole demon thing on the downlow, makes it easier to get money," I concede, tilting my head

Hw came over and grinned as he saw with a chuckle, "Looks like a bunny rabbit if you turn your head this way.."

She moved her head to see what he meant. "Nah, I'd say it looks more like a squirrel."

You headed forward in search, finding yourself following the main road. It did not take long for you to find the library, which had the word carved in the entrance, pillars of quartz keeping it p and the walls made of polished marble. It was by far the most magnificent building in the town. Ainia seemed excited and practically rushed in, Naois uncertainly leapt after her, running ahead and cutting her off before she made an abrupt decision. They looked at you to take the lead, Naois growling softly.

As you went in, the polished oak shelves were shiny from vaseline, and along hundreds of rows the sea of books seemed to last forever, each one with it's own decorative colour. There was a yelp from Ainia, a shushing from a librarian, then a map with a 'you are here' and the guidance to each section in the library.

She looked at the bow, sniffing it and investigating the bow, "Pure willow.. and fidila spiders silk braided into a fine thread." she looked up at you, "Does the Cherub use this bow?" it wasn't a stupid question, knowing the infinite uses of magical creatures. Her cold eyes bored into you, before she turned tail and climbed up to the roof, looking amongst several things, "What enchantment were you thinking? I am out of darkness powder and fire newts."

(Sure!)
You head out into the streets and find yourself heading towards the gates. As you headed out, you passed a particularly large wagon of hay. Going into the forest, you find the scent of rotting leaves met you and you could hear the noises of animals. There seemed to be nothing interesting immediately within sight, however there were two paths, one leading left and the other right.

The sky was blue, with a few white mare tail clouds. There was no strong gusts and nothing but a calm breeze made ripples across the lake. Your brothers immediately ran in, splashing you and then swimming off before you could retaliate.

You followed the stream downriver, as up seemed to lead closer to the town. You heard nothing on your trail as you got further and further away. It got deeper as you went on before you were forced to get out. Further ahead, you heard a loud waterfall.

Taking in your surroundings, on the other side of the river you could see a dense and dark forest with many bushes and brambles, with bright berries looming off stems. On this side, you could see similar berries on bushes and everything was a rather bright green, all seeming to glow and look lushious.
