Isnt that the quitari? Its based on a kirin wich I belive is a chinese creature who is a mix of a dragon and a horse.

The qilin or kirin is a hooved chimera of east Asia origin. What I'm suggesting is a horse like creature with the back quarters of a dragon as well as wings and horns.
