He smiles a little bit. "You're a lot smarter than you look... and act." He laughs at his own comment. "I guess you're right, but humans have generalities for a reason..." His voice fades, but he shakes his head, unwilling to think about it. The sky has turned into an amber hue, showing that night will fall soon. "Do you need a place to stay?"

"Do scary monsters spawn in the night that you're scared of?" she teased, "But sure, I could do with a rest. As long as it's not a snake hole." she wrinkled her nose

As you bend down to gather everything, there is the acute sound of a stick snapping behind you. Even though you look up and inspect the clearing, there isn't anything that could've made the sound.

((Sorry for being so picky, but please don't overpower yourself in the story. You cannot add or delete stuff in your environment, but rather go off of what I give.)

The honeysuckle seems to have no source, but as you look around and keep following the scent, you realize that it is constant... There is something ominous about this clearing, but you have yet to figure out what.

"I'm the Janitor... I know everything that happens in this school...." he wheezes. "And there has not been a living thing around here since the building closed..." His voice trails off into a shuddering breath. The school is huge, you notice many stairs and hallways that seem to have no end... How odd.

"A snake hole? Do you think I'm some sort of barbarian???" He laughs as he acts mock offended. The Kelp snorts and does a nod of her head. He scoffs back, holding a hand to his chest, as though offended. "Well!" He shakes his head, laughing.
"Look up."

You lay low against a pile of logs, collected for the winter. It was going to be a harsh one, but now, there is none. You watch as the people leave, dressed in all their glory... They were knights. From the capital. Even as they ride away, you don't know why they took your parents, only that you want to rescue them. The tundra was rough, but it was always home. Yet, even as you see the last gleams of bright armor in the fading sun, you know it is time to move on.
