Es took a sip of tea, almost dropping it on himself as he sputtered it out and almost flew out of his seat upon seeing Gallagher. He clutched onto his lance, preparing to draw it before recognizing the young man and relaxing with a sigh of relief.
"You.. are a strange man. Why do you just not use the front entrance of the palace?"

(I cant even do magic thou. But sometimes i dream of the future. Like months in the future)

He paused and turned to him. " the guards do not exactly favor me. "

My only superpower seems to be like.. people recognizing me everywhere. Even people I've never met before claiming it. Sometimes I wonder if I'm living a double life and sneaking out and partying with people or something.. Or maybe there's an actor with my face somewhere. Also seem to show up in random people's dreams a lot and get told about it. Not sure if either of these are exactly useful. XD)

He shook his head and sighed, noting Gallagher's injuries.
"Well, do not let me attempt to stop you. You are busy with your own.. er.. duties."
At least he assumed they were duties. He was honestly concerned about this man having been out killing.. something. He reeked of cursed energies, but he dared not inquire after their encounter earlier.

(My dreams arent exactly either. They're mostly just about my brother eating food and me yelling at him)

His eyes narrowed at him, but he did not inquire further " Do you know of the Empress' whereabouts? "

(i have some.. really strange dreams sometimes. A lot of the time they are really actiony like movies or have their own plotlines. And sometimes they are just really violent or weird. Idk.)

He dropped his hand from the pole of his lance and picked his cup of tea back up with a sip.

He turned and began heading towards the garden. At least, the one that she favored the most.

(I had one the other night about Sylestia, rp, and lost grove grinding and I swear to god my first thought when I woke up was just like "oh my god i need to stop spending so much time on this website"
Made it even funnier when Larkien pinged me yesterday saying I showed up in her dream leading an rp apparently. Something fishy is going on here, don't know what though. XD)

Ezael decided to follow him out of curiosity and equal parts duty to the Empress. He could tell the man had something on his mind, but he still didn't exactly trust him fully. He could tell that this was mutual enough to keep a bit of a distance as he observed him.

He hadn't noticed that the priest had followed him. His mind was much too preoccupied, not to mention he was wounded.

(Time to create some dramatic misunderstandings ahahahaa)

(parallel dream dimensions, I'm telling you.
I once met a shaman irl who preached on about them existing and trying to explain the physics behind how them and parallel worlds worked.. Was uh.. an interesting experience to sit through but I'm not sure how much I could actually follow since it was really out there.. Makes me still wonder though.
