"To give you this." The queen spider says, and beckons to a spider on the side. The spider comes forward and offers you armor made of webs that looked sturdy. The queen looks proud about the armor. "It is made by the more durable silk we have. We were told to give it to the prophesied one, the one that had been a spider protector outside."

Kain

Kain was in awe. He gratefully took the armor. "Thank you. It's wonderful."

"You're welcome. Now go. Your friend waits and she is not very happy." The spider queen says, dismissing you.
When you get out you see that a snake is threatening the spiders next to her. Upon seeing you, however, the snake turns into a black haired girl you know as Kenzie. She runs up to you and wraps her arms around you.
"Don't leave me again." She makes you promise, still hugging you.

Kain

"I didn't really have a choice, Kenzie. I'm sorry for leaving you but you were out cold. They gave me some armor though. I promise I won't leave you behind again." He wiggled out of the hug and showed her the armor before stuffing it in his bag.

Kenzie smiles, clearly satisfied with your promise. "It's okay. Nice armor." She says.
The spiders led you to the next choice of paths.

"Hm. Let's go towards the fire and song. It may not necessarily be a monster. Thank you, spiders. If it is a monster please don't freak out again Kenzie." He started down the right path.

Kenzie looks down, abashed. "Sorry about how I behaved. I... I should have conducted myself better."

When you get to the singing people, you find five different species having fun around a fire. Some were dancing, others played instruments to accompany the dancers, a few kitsune and shapeshifters mingled next to the refreshments table.
Kenzie seemed intrigued by this. She walked over to the folk, "Hi! May we join you?" The music stops, and everyone seems to look at you and Kenzie.
"It's been a while since others have come to us. So, sure." A phoenix says.
Kenzie looks at you, looking eager to join them, but not sure what you want.

Kain

"Ugh, parties. I think I'm just gonna continue on. Thanks for the invite, but I'm good." He grabbed Kenzie's arm and dragged her away.

Kenzie pouts but follows you, seeming to shiver as she does so. "So... You don't like parties? Why not?" She asks, trekking along beside you.

"Well, despite popular belief, I don't like being in that much of a crowd. Parties are a crowd. I'm fine with up to four other people, and you're one. Any more than that and I sort of freak out." He stated simply. "Sorry for raining on your parade."
