Ruby facepalmed.

"You said you two were in the same room. WHAT WERE YOU DOING WITH THE PERSON WHO PUSHED MINO OFF THE ROOF?"

"I meant right now," He said trying to back out of the hole he had accidentally created "We were in the same room..."

Ruby reached out and dug her fingernails into Oliver's wrist.
"Not 'till the teacher comes back. And what do you mean by 'right now'?"

"I meant when the boy was here, a second ago. When he was here... not like I have ever seen him before," He said still backing out of that hole, unknowingly making it bigger.

Ruby grabbed his wrist and pulled him forward.
"Where do you think you're going?"

"No where. Just nervous that this kid was on the loose... there could be more like him," He stopped moving and tried not to look guilty.

Ruby mumbled something under her breath and gave Oliver's wrist to Oni and Charlie before leaving the room to try and find the teacher. Oni and Charlie looked blankly at the boy in front of them, unsure of what to do.

"Hey," Oliver said sheepishly "How are you guys?"

Oni tried not to make eye contact-he was feeling flustered. Charlie frowned.
"Good, I guess."

"Well... that's good. Any chance you could let me go," He asked starting to feel uncomfortable.

Mrs. Green was in the detention room, pepper bombing the boy with questions, while the boy, looking flustered by all the questions, sat there quietly as he stayed quiet.
