"We don't know. Only Nic does, and he's keeping his mouth shut." Ken shruged.

"..Trail?" Lish seems to recognize it, judging by how his eyes have widened. "It's still in use-Oh. Of course...I should've known." he sighs. "I know that trail, made it in the first place way back when. Abandoned it, though. Guess they found it. Though hwy they were hanging around there...."

Ken and Lish exchanged looks. "Yeah, let's go." Ken nodded.

"Wait, let's call up Nic first. He's the one who knows those two street kids the best." Lish stops him.

"Uh, do you want to die?"

"Whatever. It'll be fine. Just gimme 5 minutes." Lish runs across the street and disappears into the Marker property.

"Start prepping a funeral. Nicote Marker is the worst person to wake up earlier then 10 in the morning on a summer vacation day." Ken tells you.

He comes back nearly 20 mintues later with a familiar-looking black-haired boy dressed in black and silver "rich people" clothing. His hair is a mess, his silver spiked earrings are crooked, and you notice he has a cordlike chain around his neck disappearing into his shirt somewhere.

"Alright, Allen, what the %$%# did you drag me out here for? That goes for you too Cresthearse." The boy grumbles. He's about 16 or so and he has a silver streak in his hair, possibly dyed.

Ken grimaces. "Show him the necklace, Sylva." he prompts. Lish gives you a look, one that says something like Just go with it and don't pick a fight or we're dead

Nicote takes one looks and inhales sharply. "Where did you find that." His ovice has changed from drowsy/angry to tense/dangerous-sounding

"Apparantly at the dam." Ken shrugs.

Nicote mutters something in another language, probably cusses. Lish grimaces. "So what now?"

"I have to go track down those idiots, obviously. I've done a goood job of convincing them not to get on the bad side of the law and I ain't brekaign that stereak." He holds out his hand for the necklace. "I'll get this to them....I have a feeling I know exactly where they are. Or, at least one of them." He mumbles the last part.

Ken looks like he want sto protest but Lish is shushing him.

Nicote eyes you. "You're the new kid, aren't you?" He eyes you over. "Hmm. Depends. Give me one good reason for you to tag along and you've got a deal."

Ken gapes at the ravenhair. Lish just blinks. "Uh, Nic, you sure about thi-"

"Shut it, Allen, my problem, my decision. You already know the outcomes and consequences." Nicote snaps at him.
