Second Prince story. ;w; This is more of a father-daughter tale.

The Lavender Fields

Lavender's blue, dilly, dilly, lavender's green,
When I am king, dilly, dilly, you shall be queen.
Who told you so, dilly, dilly, who told you so?
'Twas my own heart, dilly, dilly, that told me so.

Once upon a time, there lived a humble elven village chief and his only daughter. To the village chief, his daughter was his love and joy. The little child loved to sing and dance as he oversaw the village while picking flowers nearby.

Call up your men, dilly, dilly, set them to work
Some to the plough, dilly, dilly, some to the fork,
Some to make hay, dilly, dilly, some to cut corn,
While you and I, dilly, dilly, keep ourselves warm.

They lived in an elven village in the middle of a flower field, where everyone did their share to keep the nature alive and vibrant. Mother nature endowed on them magic and a happy, stress-free life, full of both beautiful flora and bountiful harvests, and in turn, the elves took care of the land by providing ample water, fertilizing them with natural fertilizer, having flower festivals at every turn of the season, sharing harvests with those who were hungry, and so on.

Lavender's green, dilly, dilly, Lavender's blue,
If you love me, dilly, dilly, I will love you.
Let the birds sing, dilly, dilly, And the lambs play;
We shall be safe, dilly, dilly, out of harm's way.

The elven village lived happily in toe with nature, giving and taking from the earth and celebrating its works. The elven chief enjoyed every day of his life with his cheerful daughter. But one season, humans from another kingdom roamed the valley, looking for weak, vulnerable villages to capture and enslave. Mother nature warned the elven village by a series of signals, from birds flying overhead and directing the elves' attention to nearby encampments, to deer leading escaping slaves to their village to tell of the humans' plan to enslave the valley.

The elven chief worried for his little village. He did not want any harm to come to them, and enslavement would be the worst for his people. As every day went by, he looked at his people, especially his only daughter, who did not know the seriousness of the matter. As the elven villagers whispered among each other and prayed to Mother Nature to protect them, the daughter would smile and tell everyone to be happy, because Mother Nature still celebrated being alive, and would want everyone to live happily every day, despite what may come.

I love to dance, dilly, dilly, I love to sing;
When I am queen, dilly, dilly, You'll be my king.
Who told me so, dilly, dilly, Who told me so?
I told myself, dilly, dilly, I told me so.

The elven chief decided that he would preserve his village by turning them all into lavender flowers with his elven magic. The village agreed to this, as they would be happy being close and being a part of the earth and its wonders. But he wanted his precious daughter, the vibrant, active child who loved to sing Mother Nature's praises, to be free from being a lavender plant in the meadow, free to roam wherever nature called. So on the day that he turned the village into lavender, he turned his lovely daughter into a lavender Aeridini, and asked her to escape the humans, but come back once every season to tend to the field of flowers and sing songs of nature to them, so that they won't be too lonely.

And thus, the Lavender Aeridini flew along with the wind, wherever the sweet scents of flowers took her. But at the turn of every season, she came back to the lavender flower field, where her village once was, and she would pollinate the flowers, sing to her lavender family, and, when Mother Nature thought it was safe, let her village become elven beings again for one day, to celebrate the gift of the earth and life.

The Frog Prince

My've Navai was a the princess of a small tribe that lived in a land that became barren and icy in winter, and boiling hot in summer. They somehow managed to always wear the same clothes except in winter the princess added a veil to her required jewels and wore a cloak. The princess had always had a bond with animals and often seemed more animal than human. She always helped the animals that got lost in the wasteland because they lost their sense of direction and smell in this desert for an unknown reason. No matter the weather, the princess was out, guiding the animals to where they wanted to go. One day in the winter, while the princess was out guiding a lost Lupora, a huge blizzard struck up. It was like none other. It seemed to be trying to tear the life force out of the princess. The princess knew she was going to die but saw no reason for the Lupora she could tell was returning to its family after an unsuccessful hunting trip, and shielded it to the best of her ability. Just as My've could feel her life slipping away, a legendary Lighira appeared before her and growled, "You have saved many sylestie before and shall not die. You shall be turned into a Lupora as you were going to die protecting one. You will become immortal and uncatchable, guiding lost creatures though this wasteland of all types until the end of time." With that, the Lighira disappeared and My've was turned into grey Lupora with the marking of the Lighira and a garment much like her veil on. She still roams the desert of her tribe and will sometimes watch over the tribe from the top of a dune, viewing her old life, but not missing it.

Jane totally counts as a princess, right? Princess of the jungle and all...

When she traveled to Africa, Jane Porter never expected to meet a wild man, or to be able to play with the baby gorillas, or to end up staying there for the rest of her life entirely by choice. But what she really never expected was to find herself, for a brief period of time... Not human. She had stumble upon a little oasis of sorts, a little spring of water that came seemingly out of nowhere, and though she could walk all the way around it in just a few steps, she couldn't see the bottom of it. Nor could she touch the bottom, with her hand or with any of the increasingly long sticks she picked up to test it with.

Eventually, thirsty from her earlier exploring and then her attempts to find a longer stick, Jane decided to take a drink of the water from the spring. It was sweet and cool, more fresh than she had ever tasted water before, and she drank handful after handful. It started to make her drowsy shortly after, however, and she curled up by the side of the spring to take a nap.

When she woke, at first, she didn't realize anything was wrong. She only started to realize when she stood to stretch. She was much lower to the ground than she had ever been while standing fully, and when she looked down at herself more closely, she noticed that she wasn't looking at her dress, legs, and feet... But at a chest and paws and legs covered in yellow fur, the same color as her dress had been.

Startling and a bit frightened, she glanced at her reflection in the water of the spring and recoiled quickly. She must still be dreaming, because she was certain she'd seen an image not of herself, but of a small dog like creature with a pink bow on its head! Further inspection and a good bit of pinching - or, well, biting - proved that it was no dream. She had really become some sort of small furry dog. Looking around her, the jungle suddenly seemed much more dangerous than it had as a human. As quickly as she could, she raced back to the camp, hoping to hide out in the relative safety of her tent. It wouldn't provide much more protection than the trees would, but at least some snake or big cat or other predator would be less likely to find her in the first place.

A few hours passed, and Jane was sitting quietly, trying to puzzle her way through what had happened and how to fix it. Of course, suddenly changing into an animal was impossible. But, obviously, plenty of things considered impossible were somehow possible in Africa. Like a man being raised by a group of gorillas - she never would have thought that possible, even in her wildest dreams.

Her thoughts were interrupted by noise outside the tent - her father and Clayton returning, no doubt. Not wanting them to see her and think her some pest to be rushed from the camp, she found a little corner of the tent to tuck herself into, knowing they would assume she was just still out, probably with Tarzan, if they couldn't find her. While she was there, however, she found herself nodding off again, and it wasn't longer before she was asleep again.

The next time Jane woke up, it was to find herself incredibly cramped and uncomfortable, lodged into a little crevice. Forcing herself out with much grumbling and a few choice phrases that were not so nice, she stood and brushed her dress down. All at once she stopped, looking down and running her hands over herself again, with her very human hands. She was back to herself again! She could have cried from relief. Apparently the effects of the water were only temporary and wore off once it was out of the system.

The next day, she would bring Tarzan to the spring and see if he knew anything about it. If the effects could be replicated, there was a chance it could be a major discovery, after all, something science could most definitely benefit from!

Frog Prince/Princess Game.

Astaroth

My name is Astaroth.

I am a demon prince; I was once a goddess. Now now I'm a lupora. How did this happen? How did a goddess become a mere animal? Its a rather complex story, despite the deceptive simplicity of it.

As I just mentioned, I was once a goddess. I still am, technically but no one worships me now. My era has come and gone, and as of recently, being one of the demon princes of Hell has not made much of a difference. During the time when humans worshiped me, I encountered a greenseer, a human who can see glimpses of others futures without a gods assistance. She offered to tell me my future; I accepted. She told me that in the very distant future, there would be humanoid beings which would inexorably change my life and be very influential in regards to my future from that point on. I believed her but I still cast it aside, only checking periodically as the centuries passed.

During my searches, I always found nothing. Until one day, I did. It was a male I saw. A male with horns and wings growing on him. I was instantly alerted, and kept watch over him keeping watch as another one with wings and horns was born. So I kept watch on that pair. As of yet, I saw nothing of importance that tied me to them . I also saw another man, another man who loved the cold as much as the other two loved the fires but again, I did not feel any attachment or connection. So I left them be

Several years later, I began to feel a small pull. It was only a minor annoyance, at first. Then the sensation grew, and it became more than a minor annoyance. It made me irritable, frustrated, and grouchy. I was liable to accidentally set things on fire and freeze things. I had no idea where this Hum was coming from. Weeks passed like this, and then it died down. I was worried, for a brief second, but I pushed it down. What was there to worry about? I checked anyways first on my discovered humanoids, and then the rest of the world. Nothing offered any hint.

Peace reigned in my body for a week after that. Then it just faded, and was replaced by such a rage and pull that I didnt even have a choice. It pulled me. It pulled me across land, across ocean. It pulled me across everything, until I reached my goal.

A little girl, with mechanical wings grafted or grew onto her back. This was the one, I could feel the connection. It made me wary, and I knew I couldn't show myself. I may be an old goddess, but one still widely known of. Id be recognized. So I concealed myself, watching this girl Ravenna do what she had to do. Everything was calm and boring.

It was only a few weeks before something happened. The girl was attacked viciously by undead and wild, corrupted sylesti. She fought back the best she could and yet it wasn't enough. She couldn't fly away, either she was in fact still healing from the wings being grafted on. She was knocked unconscious, and was almost killed until I stepped in. No, she wasnt going to die. Not while I was there. I was able to repel the attackers. Nothing fancy, just brutal slaughter until everything around Ravenna and I was dead. It was quite easy to do with a shadowy-flamey red sword. Then I turned to Ravenna. Her skin was clammy. She was losing blood at a fast rate, and even I recognized a fatal wound. That is, fatal if there wasn't a goddess around. I closed the wound, healing the bits that would have made the wound fatal. I touched nothing else. Otherwise, it would have been suspicious

I couldn't leave Ravenna now, just lurking in the background. It was too dangerous for her; how could I protect her if she didn't know of my existence? It could ruin everything. I pondered for several minutes before the idea came to mind. Shapeshift I had the ability; I could shift into anything that suited me. Luckily for me, I already had something in mind. It mimicked a design I had seen before, with some modifications of my own. I became the stalker.

Several years have passed since that day, and I am still that stalker. You may wonder when my true form will be revealed to my beloved charge, but in truth, I dont know.

Ill find out. Someday.
