"Hiiiiii!" A long call sounded, and someone flew at you from the corner, almost crashing into you but stopped the last second. It was a girl, you could see through your fingers covering your face. She had dark brown, almost black hair tied into a short ponytail, and black eyes that sparkled with amusement, but when you looked closer you could make out they were a very dark brown. Nevertheless, she was suspended in the air before you, surrounded by a icy blue haze-like aura. From around the corner, a very exasperated girl emerged, hand extended towards the first girl, her fingers glowing in the same blue-ish colour as the aura that surrounded the first girl. She appeared to be some sort of mage, a magic-user, at least, from her robes. From around the corner two more people appeared, a girl and a boy, the boy easily dwarfing all three girls, especially the first one. Beside you, you hear Xan breathe a sigh of relief. Apparently, he knew these people. Or, at least, he had seen them before.

Micah hesitantly lowers his hands staring at the strange human-like beings. Or were they just magic floating humans and not a desperate sub-species? He pushed the question aside for later. At least they were not a threat, or at least Xan indicated as much. *Uh, Hey,* he smiled in a lop-sided manner. *You guys are?* He was feeling intimidating a bit from the fact that he had cowered, a bit from their mystic-seeming appearances, a the rest from the fact that he was no longer tallest in the group. He liked being tall.

Xan shuffled nervously beside you as the mage girl set the first girl down on the ground, the blue aura disappearing afterwards. The four came to a stop before you, and the first girl, now calmer than before, observed you with slightly narrowed eyes, looking up at you. (She's about 1m55)
"Who's this guy? I don't remember Lord M telling us we had someone else coming with us." She snapped quickly, startling you a bit. The mage girl put a hand on the first girl's shoulder as if in warning and then smiled at you gently.
"Hello, dear. Sorry if Faye startled you." She spoke in a gentle voice, unlike the rather sharp voice of the first girl, Faye. "We are an investigation team, this time hired by the man known as Lord M." She nodded a quick hello to Xan, then continued. "Are you also on the case? Or, are you a friend of Xan's?"

Well, at least he was far from the shortest. He dwarfed the first girl by half a meter or so. He was startled be her quick change in attitude from loud happy greetings to snapping suspicion. He smiled back at the second girl as she apologized for Faye.
*Long story short, yes. I am also on this case.*

(Half a meter? Like, 2 meters tall? Phew. That's way taller than the average tall person! Anyways, now, you get to be the non-sociopathic high functioning sociopath!)

Faye still looked skeptical but stayed silent as the mage girl started introductions. "I am Refina," She nodded at you in hello although she did not offer a hand to shake. "As you probably know, this is Faye." She gestured at the first girl. "And, this is Kyogi, and this is Izumi." Kyogi was the third girl and Izumi was the tall boy. Kyogi crossed her arms and looked at you with a sharp gaze while the boy seemed quite shy, attempting to hide behind Kyogi, but he was taller than her so the attempt ended in a fail.
"Well?" Faye intoned sharply, startling you once again, and she watched you with intense eyes. "Since you've obviously been inside before us, what is in there?"

(In my mind he is around 6 feet tall, which is approximately a little less than two meters. Anyway, I am a shorter person myself, so I like creating tall characters XD)

Micah was broken from his examination of the four by Faye. He found Kyogi especially interestingand by that, hilarious. He glanced at Faye, holding up two fingers *One,* he said wagging one finger before putting it down, *My name is Micah. Pleased to meet you. Two,* he did the same thing with the second finger before putting his hand down. *In there is the scattered remains of what is supposedly human. If found that,* he pointed at the cloth which Xan was holding for him, *Before my stomach decided it was go time.*

(So around 1m80. Cool, Izumi is 1m85 xD)

I don't remember saying Xan was holding the cloth, but okay.
"Psh. Tall people." Faye rolled her eyes at you then stalked off to inspect the cloth. Regina gave you an apologetic glance and followed Faye. Seeing the two left, Kyoto strode up to you, still crossing her arms, chin lifted. You could tell she was the sassy type.
"Just so you know." She held up a finger and pressed it to your forehead, applying just enough pressure for you to stumble backwards a bit. "Do not be mean to Faye. Anyways - Let's see if you can comprehend this: our world consists of more than humans. Crimes may be committed by non-humans, so be aware." She removed her finger and turned abruptly, hair swishing out behind her, and went to the cloth. Izumi followed her shyly, not talking or looking at you.

Micah was surprised by Kyotos ferocity right from the get-go, but was a bit pleased by her tip. He paused staring at her as the annoyed taller Izumi followed. How has she know he was not from this world? Was it just a slip of speech to say that something was in this world? It sounded like she was implying he was not from this world, which he was not. He slowly approached the small gathering from behind, intentionally standing a bit close to Izumi for an quick measure. He popped a knuckle in annoyance that the boy truly was taller.

(I really need to actually get off now :p )

When you inched closer to Izumi he jumped and shuffled away from you, putting Kyogi between you and him. Although Kyogi was still shorter than you, she shot you a heated warning glare. Before them, Faye and Refina were poking at the cloth.
"Where did you find this?" Refina asked you, levitating the cloth some distance at your eye level, as she probably knew that holding it could contaminate the evidence.

Diana still stared at you through giant round saucers of deep brown and black, head tilted. She could sense your emotions, and you knew that. Raccoons are smart little cuties. She wriggled out of your arm and scrambled to the relatively small bed that still looked comfortable and she put her front paws on the sides, looking back at you as she tugged gently at the bedsheet.

April shook her head and whispered hoarsely, "You should rest, Diana." she blinked, watching the raccoon. her eyes stung, but she knew she needed to find the other person. She wasn't sure what she would do when she did, but she wanted to thank them and do what they wanted her to do, no matter what it was.
