"Hmm announcements are starting soon, Venus better-" Aurora was cut off by a sweet smell coming into the room. THe two team star members immediately whipped around, seeing Venus in her new evolved form. "Venus, you- you evolved" Midnight exclaimed amazed. "Your eyes are even prettier than before!" Aurora told her. "Thanks" Venus said, slightly blushing from her friends outbursts. She wouldn't admit the fact she could slightly seenow, but that wasn't too important.

"I can't even sit down! I'm too excited for this expedition!" Jaden wagged his tail.

"I am too, but it's best not to use up our energy by jumping around so much." Rio took Jaden by his shoulders and pushed down on him so that he was sitting.

Joey walked into the room.
Luke's jaw hit the floor.
"Hey dad." Joey said.
"You're a Meowstic?" Lila asked.
"Yeah! I evolved! Isn't it great?"
"My little Joey-kins is all grown up!" Tina said, tearing up.

Hummer and Flit touched ground next to them. They both seemed happy for Venus.

"By the way, what is evolving? Like growing up?" Jaden suddenly asked.

"It's kind of like that." Rio answered, he sat down next to the electrike.

"Well, Team Star is all ready for the expedition today!" Venus said enthusiastically. Her friends cheerily agreed, ready to set out on the journey.

Wave walked up the stairs, claws clicking on the floor. Nettle followed in absolute silence, not a sad silence but a peaceful silence. Wave trotted into the main hall, and Nettle perched beside her. Wave began her announcements:

"Good morning everyone!"
The crowd returned the greeting.
"I hope everone's excited for the expadition!"
There was a joyous uproar. Wave waited patiently.
"As you may know, the expadition takes us to Mirage Desert. There are rumors that an underground temple was found, but getting there requires traveling a couple days. So, you've all had time to prepare, but you have an extra hour to do anything last minute if you need to (or if you just wanna stop by the cafe for a bite to eat). I'll meet you in town square in a bit."

"Alright." Joey said, nodding.
"Seems legit." Luke shrugged.
"A desert tho...." Tina said.
"We can do it!" Lila said enthusiastically.
"To Town Hall!" they all cheered in unison.
"But first, a pokepuff." Joey said.
The others groaned.

"Mirage Desert? Sounds interesting!" Jaden jumped up.

"Yeah. I hope nothing goes wrong." Rio was a bit scared.

"Everything will be fine, Rio! Don't worry, it's not just us that's going! Other teams are coming along too!" Jaden looked at the other teams.

"Right. Well then, let's go to caf and get something to eat before we go." Rio got up. Jaden followed him.

"Lets go to the Cafe until everyone else is ready" Midnight said. "Yeah, I'm thirsty" Aurora agreed. The group headed over to the cafe for a quick drink. Venus got a Lum berry, Aurora got an oran berry drink, and Midnight got a Bluk berry drink
