I'd suggest varying the colors a bit, and is it a themed contest design? I'd suggest avoiding pure black/white in numerous amounts. Also remember to fill in accent colors as they affect the design as well! I'd also suggest making the pure white a pale purple/lilac color to help tie the design together better.

You never asked to be taken off the ping list, the ping list is in place to make it where you can ping and ask for criticism. If you would like to be taken off the ping list then you will not be notified for things such as what your complaining about and you will have to manually check the thread to keep updated on contests.

i only want to be pinged for contests can you at least make two different ping lists?

In order for me to do that it would require me to make three different ping lists, three to use normally and three to use for contests in order for you to be and I am not doing that as it easier for me to stick with the normal ping lists.
