As Tigerstar and the patrol charged over, I pushed the Queen and her kits away so they wouldn't get hurt. I followed them towards the nursery, but saw Wolfkit slipping out through the back. Wolfkit let out a Squeak as I grabbed his scruff.
"What do you think you're doing?" I spun around and came face-to-face with Shadowspirit, "I-I was just putting him back in he nurse-" "Don't lie to me! I know what you were doing you traitor! Give me back my kit before you get hurt."
I didn't know what to do. I'm not stealing his kit! I'm his clanmate, doesn't he trust me?
I looked past him and towards the Thunderclan cat who was left bleeding out on the ground with several cuts and bites. She would give up her life for this kit, even if it wasn't hers... Would Shadowspirit do the same? Would his clanmates do the same?
Without even answering my own questions, I ran.

Shadowspirit put his kit near his mate and then went to Deerstar. He purred in her ear and dragged her away. He came back and tossed her back into the hole. She opened her eyes only to see shadowclan camp. Deerstar struggled to stand up only to be shoved down.

Once I ran into ThunderClan territory, I knew that I was safer then what I was before. I stopped to catch my breath, I turned around to see if anyone had followed me, but they hadn't.
The sound of blood pumping in my ears was almost deafening. Once the sound calmed down, I remembered the Thunderclan cat lying on the ground bleeding out, I knew I had to go help, but I didn't have enough strength to get them out of there. I looked up towards StarClan, I hope that they can see our situation through those clouds.
"Why?" I asked myself as I walked back towards Shadowclan, the feeling of rain falling on my pelt didn't make me shiver as much as thought of going back there did.

''I failed'' she mumbled ''im sorry thunder clan....sorry deerstar and wolfkit I failed to protect you im just as weak as a mouse''

As I was walking back to Shadowclan camp, I kept thinking about how I could save those Thunderclan cats. The light rain was washing away my scent, I prayed to StarClan that they won't harm those cats anymore than we have. I scented a patrol coming.
I quickly ran into a bush, hoping that they wouldn't find me.

The patrol walked past, completely unaware of me. As they walked out of sight, I ran over to a small hole in the brambles surrounding the camp. I looked around to see if I could find anyone, but the camp was almost empty.
I saw another Thunderclan cat being held down by Shadowspirit, the cat who was bleeding out wasn't where I last saw her. There were no drag marks either....
When I walked out of the brambles and into the shadows of the nursery, I herd the Thunderclan cat's voice behind me, I looked over but she hadn't noticed me yet.

Deerstar ran when everyone wasn't looking and crossed the thunderpath quickly. She knew she was going to have kits but they were kits she knew she didn't want. She continued on and laughed.

I walked closer towards the Thunderclan cat and was about to talk to her. "Back already?" sad Shadowspirit behind me. I didn't turn around this time, I just lashed out with my back legs and kicked him in the face. The Thunderclan cat turned around startled, "Run" I said to her before Shadowspirits claws found my back.
I rolled over and raked my unsheathed claws raked down his belly. I kicked him off and then ran, following the scent of the Thunderclan cat and kit.
