Bruno looked down at Gabriel and pointed at Nayeli "protect" he said and instantly the larger canine walked over to Nayeli and stood beside her maming Bruno smile "lets go " he said and walked inside keeping his guard up again but head held high he had a confident almost cocky walk

Nayeli and Gabriel followed behind she was still carrying ngel in her arms the Chihuahua kept her eyes looking around ready to book at anything anyone that moved. Nayeli kept her gaze on the ground walking slowly and nervously occasionally she would flinch or become startled at any noise even if it was just something in the far distance it was obvious the staff contrast between the two humans one was really brave and the other one was skittish Nayeli reached into her pocket pulling out the candle that caused it all

In the throne room Ximuerta was on her throne with her head down so all they could see was her big hat and crown. Her hands were on the sides of her throne, her staff was no where to be seen because it was hiding making sure that Nayeli, Bruno, and the dogs didn't try anything. Her throne was made up of a mixture of stone and hard sugar candy with cushions made of marigolds black and white wax candles lit the room.

Bruno saw the lady was the same ine from the previous incident and stopped in his tracks "this senorita again" he said to himself and grabbed Nayeli's hand this woman cased a scene earlier and didn't want anything more to happen "come on lets go" he said and pulled Nayeli in the opposite direction he had enough of everything and wanted to go home

Nayeli kept her gaze to the floor seeing Ximuerta again made her uneasy "we will go to the land of the remembered they can help there they know us" she thought

Ximuerta's snake stops them in their tracks hissing at them and baring it's fangs "They can't help you there they don't even know about that candle Nayeli, Bruno" Ximuerta says as she lifts her head up so they can see her face. She looks at them as her snake continues to hiss at them threatening to attack if they tried to leave.

Bruno glaced at her "i see you want us to trust the person who got us in the situation in the first place, no chance girly i going to an adult" he said and and glared at the snake and smriked as Gabriel growled and snarled at the snake while ngel still in Nayeli's arms snarled. Bruno pulled Nayeli away from and around the snake and made his way to the door he wasn't taking orders from a girl who liked fifteen or sixteen years old

Nayeli became visibly distressed when the woman who her and Bruno's name butcoming and even more terrified and scared she wanted to go home to a safe place where there was no snakes she heard this snake pr one like it killed Maria Posada husband so wouldn't trust it or its owner. Nayeli glanced back when they reached the door but it was only briefly as she focused her attention on getting home

Ximuerta appeared in front of them her wings outstretched blocking the exit as her snake slithered its way into her hand and it became a staff again. Ximuerta looked at them "If your accusing me for your situation your accusing the wrong person I had no part in why you are here" she said. "My job is to protect and look over both lands and help my people and sometimes I visit your world the land of the living when I have free time, I might be young and might look nave and a little scary to you but I am trying to help you go home" she says politely.

(In the signup thread I made a avatar that is the closest i could get to what Ximuerta looks like but not really because the wardrobe didn't have a hat thats close to what she wears.)

Bruno crossed his arms over his chest "you scared people, made children cry, tried to steal from us and upset Nayeli if that candle was yours you could have said so instead you stole it and are now trying to cover up your mistakes plus you can't claim to protect us when you cased a massive town panic " he said and stepped under her wings and walked over to the door and closed it behind him

Nayeli and Gabriel being left behind exchange looks before Nayeli nervously bowed "have a nice day " she said and followed bruno quietly applogising when suddenly both Bruno,Nayeli and the dogs disappeared in a group of orange marigold petals

Ximuerta sighs and looks at her staff "They're going to get themselves killed, humans these days so reckless in places they don't know" she says. Ximuerta thinks for a minute "I should have properly introduced myself and i know you were trying to make them stay for me but hissing is never the answer" she says and gets an idea. "Come on, lets make sure they make it back to the land of the living and actually be living and i can take Nayeli to her mom she's so nice" she says and leaves her castle following them.

Bruno groaned and opened his eyes and looked around and suddenly realised that he and Nayeli were at the cemetery underneath a large tree Nayeli's head resting on his shoulder it looked like they were simply sleeping underneath a tree even Gabriel and ngel wwre sleeping beside him "w-what?" He said and looked at Nayeli "wake up" he called oit gently shaking her

Nayeli opened her eyes she started to believe it was a dream and she had fallen asleep visiting her mother's grave that was untill she saw Bruno "we are home strange" she said and stood up Bruno quickly followed her standing on his feet also "the candle is gone also" he said realising who returned them destroyed the candle also
