While I do think of the ocean whenever summer is mentioned, I also remember making a lot of smoothies for myself and my family. Yes, there are other flavors out there; however, I mainly use strawberries, blackberries, blueberries, and raspberries in my smoothies, so my entry is colored to represent those four berries. The light blue represents the ice that I tend to add into the mix.

My lighiras are based on the full moon because i love beong outside at night time when the moon is shining on a warm summer night.

This lighra is based off of rivers that flow with lush vegetation and have a sandy bank with blue-green water

I DID mine off of a camp fire

Began as a sundial design and sort of morphed into a summer sky one.

Obviously based of the Tri-flavored Creamy Treat most people tend to prefer in the heat of summer, Neapolitan Ice Cream.

I enjoy camping during the summer so I based my lighira off sitting by the campfire and looking at the stars late at night.

Created this guy in honor of the fireflies my son and I were catching last night. He's four and it was his first time camping AND getting to stay up past his bedtime. And he didn't squash a single one! Which is more than I can say for myself when I was that age. ;)
