GTP are Genotype Points. c:
When you make a pet with essences, you'll see above the generator you're only allowed to have 2GP for regular essences and 4GP for enhanced/mystical essences.
Visible genes/mutations are worth 2GP.
Carried genes/mutations are worth 1GP.
The rarity system also goes by GP.
For example, in the festival zone, uncommon pets (green stars) have only 1GP, so they can only have 1 carry.
For rare pets (blue stars), they have 2GP, so they can either be 1vis or 2carry.
Epics (purple stars) are 4GP, so 2vis, or 4carry, or 1vis2carry,
then Legendary (orange stars) are like..6GP?
Mythical, I start forgetting haha.

C'mon, little baby eggy~ Mama griffi was actually a dude until about 5 minutes ago. XD But S(he) is a 5-show, 1-carry with a few traits in common with Mr. Snowfeathers here, which wound up being the best combination in my stables. So now I wait to see what Spriggs x Daddy Snowfeathers will look like.
