Would it be possible to add in a feature so that when you max out your spots in Sylesti Seeking that you get a free move?

I'll be here twiddling my thumbs for the next 4.5 hours waiting on a free one with no more open spaces :P

Is there going to be an eggling auction this festival as well?

I don't know if this is the right place to be giving feedback (please move if it isn't, I guess), but it really worries me how hard it seems to make any progress on Seeking pets.

I am aware that it's only the second day or so, but I've used up every shovel and pole I've found (along with ten maze tickets' worth of super poles and shovels) over 4-5 maps and I have literally nothing to show for it but a bit of gold, two blocks of clay, a crab, and a swimsuit - and I suspect I'm one of the lucky ones. That's a lot of grinding and a lot of money spent for frustratingly little result. I'm honestly worried that I won't be able to make any Seeking pets this festival, and that's really killing my enthusiasm to do much of anything - because it really doesn't seem like my effort is going to result in any Seeking pets at all, much less ones I might want.

Edit: To be clear, I understand that you'd want to make the summer themed pets a bit harder to get than the plant pets were, but this just seems really unfair.

I agree with Ani here ;; I've gotten absolutely nothing, and I'm just... losing enthusiasm about the festival entirely. I completely understand that with the Megazone and DB issues that you had to rush a bit, but I feel as if it's still... a bit too rushed. With nothing like the seashell hunt, no festival events like the zombie thing, no free maze thing like the easter egg hunt, and with spawn times being 2 hours, I feel as if there's not much to do. With the Seeking, I've been killing bosses - as much as I can, with the spawn times - and I've gotten absolutely nothing. Not a silvery pearl, not a clay brick, not a single fish/ crab/ thing to make a Seeking pet with. The best I've gotten has been 3 diamonds. And that once. That's just my input. I know there was an issue with too many exclusive pets last fest, but this fest I feel it's not even worth trying because if you are lucky you'll get supplies for only... one. and probably not one you would like, anyways.

EDIT: Another thing is that last map we could at least fertilize others plants, and that made things a little easier. We could also trade/ sell pots and whatnot. Having that ability would be... nice.

Being one of the (probably many) people with extremely limited time and even limited funds irl, the amount of time/resources it takes to find the Seeking items is...kinda not ok =( I've had the most time today and yesterday that I am likely to have all week, and have very, very little to show or it (A fish to make a pet I don't like, that's /all/ ) And that's even after I spent real money to buy seeking items.

One of the biggest things was earlier today, I found one of those "lucky squares" and used a majestic pole on it. I expected to get /something/ out of it. I got 20 gold. Isn't that like...max luck right there? If max luck is only going to net me 20 gold...yeah, definitely discouraged...I feel like I spent $10 on 2k worth of gold and a pet that is probably going to be given away or left to rot in my stables....And thats NOT including the amounts of gold I spent buying a few shovels/poles off the broker, or the time it took to get some on my own from the zone itself. To be putting in as much time, effort, and money as I possibly can and not get /anything/ out of it is super, super disheartening...

I understand wanting to limit the amount of exclusives..but I feel like atm...I feel like very few people are going to be able to get what they want...And especially not those like me who are just starting the school year now and have to worry about classes and studying, and don't have time to spend ever waking hour hunting down poles and shovels to get 20 gold =(


Its almost to the point where I don't even want to participate in the fest...why bother if I'm not going to get anything out of it unless I skip classes to spend ever second on here? (and even then, it would be debatable if it'd even be fruitful)

Chiming in because I'm a loser and have done my usual turn up and spend money routine - I've used ~15 maze tickets worth of supplies, plus an extra 20 pack worth of items and I don't have enough items to create one pet. It was actually significantly easier getting a maze pet! I think the way you've moved towards making these pets more exclusive is excellent but I'm concerned you've pushed it too far in the other direction! I've spent a lot of real life money and have very little to show for it in terms of pixels this time around, which honestly puts me off spending more because I felt I had much better value for money in previous fests.

I'd also add that the addition of a completely non-transferable pet system this time is an added difficulty we perhaps didn't need on top of the very low drop rate on the fishing map. Last fest we could exchange fertilizers at least, this time round we are required to find all of the items ourselves. I personally like this change - but on top of the map it's very, very difficult to get anywhere.

Overall; a lot of money spent and a lot of time grinding and not a great deal to show for it!

As always with new features, it's very hard to gauge drop rates over the course of the entire community, especially with features with lots of various drop rates and mechanics. We do our best to gauge and test prior, but it's just not quite the same as seeing tens of thousands of entries versus a few hundred.

Also, just to note, there has been about 200 Themed Pet items obtained so far. I imagine most players are just holding out for better Pearls before actually creating them as there's no real time restriction and you could just technically wait until the last day to make them.

That being said, we agree with the suggestions/complaints regarding Seeking, so we made some improvements!

List of Updates
-Increased bonus boost of using Iron Tools and further increased bonus boost of using Majestic Tools.
-Majestic Tools, when finding Gold, now find a minimum higher amount of Gold.
-Greatly increased the frequency of Bonus Objects appearing, especially when purchasing a Move Approval.

Thank you very much for this. I spent a lot of poles and shovels so far and no fish pieces yet, but have had a couple pearls, a random diamond, and an essence. Looking forward to hopefully getting a little luckier in the next few days. Keep up the great work, and thank you again
