This is Kacey the aeridini, and she's meant to be a representation of myself (wow, so original and not at all self-centered!) The hazel eyes and brown wings are a reflection of my own appearance, with the wings filling in for hair. Her tail, which you'll notice is a tiger lily, is a reference to my username, Tigrrrlily. The blues, particularly navy, are the color of the ribbon that represents the autoimmune disorder that nearly took my life, which I have now conquered and will finally be able to go to college. (Not colon cancer, by the way, which is what usually comes up when you search blue ribbon meanings.)

NovaBorealis
Meet my dream Nephini
NovaBorealis he is the guardian of The Aurora Borealis aka the northern lights. He was born in the Northern lights and his father Novasky and his mother Phantom Borealis each gave him a piece of there name.
He has a rather bright color pattern but his colors do indeed look like The aurora Borealis at night.
NovaBorealis is courageous and protective and extremely friendly to his allies but If your an enemy you better beware as he will try to destroy you to protect The Northern Lights from destruction.

Icebringer

This bird is the opposite of a Firebird (Fire Phoenix - Fire Elemental that tends to breed and nest near or in active volcanos) and is a Water Elemental rather than a Fire Elemental. It shares most of a Firebird's healing abilities, though it has a few that specialize in water based illness or injuries that the more common fire phoenix's magics have no effect on. An Icebringer's nest is formed of it's own magics on liquid water far out to sea, warded against harvest and predators from below by powerful wards, in a mysterious way that has yet to be studied and thus discovered.

Unlike the firebird, if it loses a human partner, it will not, after a period of mourning, seek out a new one: Icebringer Phoenixes will instead seek a mate and forsake the human lands and habitations altogether. For so long as the partnership with a human exists, they are loyal and powerful defenders.

Vampi Queen

Vampi Queen was born in darkness. She is ashamed of her past of killing and torturing, and has given it all up to enter the light. She still resorts to violence when cornered or scared, but her heart has been cleansed of all the evil that had been within it. She now tries helping others. She'll fly around and look for sylesties in need, and if the situation calls for it she'll work with other sylesties to rescue the ones in need. She is afraid of those she hurt in the past retaliating against her now. Or revealing the secret she was ever bad to the world, but she has learned to live with these fears and to in some ways overcome them. She no longer obeys the darkness. She does as she pleases, but because she does as she pleases, she sometimes winds up in trouble.

While many brightly colorful species are indeed poisonous, this little beauty only became poisonous after drinking from her favorite flower, Deadly Nightshade.

Faelen


Faelen was abandoned at a young age. He grew up with his younger sister Rylianne. Faelen eventually found himself captured by a human who treated him well and cared for him. occasionally Faelen sees Rylianne and says hello but he faithfully follows his master and has become a powerful, strong, kind Zolnixi knight though he has princely characteristics.His story will go on and as Faelen would say "May we meet again one day princess."

Glori loves to soar through the summer skies, as her colors can attest. Her strong wings carry her high and far, as she explores the mythical land that she is princess of. She brings peace and harmony wherever she goes. She loves to make little children happy, and she gives them rides through the clouds.

Fantasy is my absolute favourite genre and with that feel in mind and a dark colour pallet a friend suggested, I created this enchanted Griffi design a while back for a project I hope to do in the future. Even now without all 6 traits it makes me think of the title A Midsummer's Night Dream. Unfortunately the forums didn't allow me to use the Lakota characters for her name.

A user once imagined what this pet might look like, Midnight is the result of such imaginings whether or not it is correct no one can argue Midnight's beauty and mystic.
