wow that was actually very good!! i like how you brought in the daughters, and how they beg for a dog but your refuse because of what happened with Guard... Also, you use of words is very interesting, because I wouldnt think to use complex words like that, but you really know how to fit them into the story...

this is such as beautiful but sad poem....amazing. But maybe instead of saying the world isn't the same, the world is to blame, you should say something else. I feel like the word "world" is used too soon, one after another.
