Inspiration: Scotland's Royal Coat of Arms (The unicorn is usually white, but can be silver). Splashed with Scottish blue. Hogmanay is my favourite Winter celebration.

Inspiration: NYE club parties. Family duties are done, time to dance away your cares.


Cranberry Cookie Kelpari

Inspiration: Baking leftover ingredients and hoping for the best. The resulting cranberry and pistachio cookies are surprisingly delightful.


Hazy Winter Griffi

Inspiration: "Look around, leaves are brown, and the sky is a hazy shade of winter." An attempt at that sky.


Biting Blooms Morkko
Inspiration: Two of the fruitful refrains from the carol 'The Holly and the Ivy'. "The holly bears a berry,
As red as any blood." "The holly bears a blossom, As white as the lily flower." Both the blood and lily lend themselves to death. So the 'holly' green went dark with the hint of the macabre.
