I would like to join!

I did quite a bit of breeding, so I ended up with a significant number of regenerable kelps. Most of the non PB are only 5 or 6 tp, though, and the PB are even less. I guess I made up for lack of tp by going for volume. :-P

Work was pretty crazy last week, so I haven't had much time to play in the generator yet. I'm thinking of possibly this project for some of my sunken cemetery babies using only regen traits:

Hopefully next week I'll have some time to organize my herds.

I added you. Welcome!

Seahorse and Seeweed look really good on the Sunken Cementary Kelps. I bet your project idea will look even better, when the G2 trait will show on Central Fins as well.

Very lovely! I like the female in particular. I'm curious what they'll look like when the genes on wing mutations show.

Thanks.

Yes, I'm really curious to see how they will look once the wing mutations show. I really want to see how luminous fins turn out as well. I have 4 tagged SC kelps that I'm sure at least one will end up with luminous fins, but I'm going to be patient and wait and see how they work with the wing mutations. I expect that they'll be lovely. Plus, we'll be getting more traits with spring fest.

I just wish that there was a trait in g3 that was a little more subtle. I like the cream color, but all of the traits are kind of overwhelming.

Yeah, I agree regarding the gene 3. I find that runes can often times be very busy since they tend to cover so much of the body. I do like them on kelparies more than most but at the same time they seem best to me on projects that are designed to include them.

It might be worthwhile to start thinking of possibly more subtle gene 3 ideas now since there'll probably be another design contest for summer. I also want to think of a different gene 2 that takes into account the eye color but with a stronger feel than monarch.

------------------------

I'm also playing with this lucky project idea that involves central fins but I want to wait and see how the wing mutations look. I'm sitting on some kelparies I have yet to regen, too, for the same reason.

I wish I could use a mane mutation along with the dust. Not sure how it looks with the green mane. Maybe I should make it purplish to match the fins a bit?

Faeyla: I was planning to mutate Luminous Fins into my SC Kelparis, too. Then I realized my only tagged one is an exclusive. I trait disrupted him, until I got Deap Sea Runes. I'll leave it at that.

I agree regarding the G3. More species should have something like the Lace Runes the Vulnyxes have.

Savynn: I like your lucky project idea. Making the Lucky Dust purplish might be too much, depending on how the fins will look in their finished form.

Assuming the central fins end up with the same distribution of the wing trait as the normal fins, I think the green mane will have a nice contrast.

@Faeyla

Thanks! I'm hoping you're right. I would almost not just use central fins since I like the normal wings so much but I like how central shows off the runes better.

Mohya! You got Deep Sea Runes on a Sunken Cemetery Kelpari? You are a rock star!

*lol* I set him up for you: https://www.sylestia.com/view/pets/?petid=1878102

But it's carried. You may need to try a few times. If it doesn't work after three tries, tell me, and I'll lower the breeding fee.
