@Tigergirl
:O I was unaware of the prevalence of purple/green. I will keep an eye out from now on.

@orange moth,
*snuggles so much such as can only be done mentally*
@Amarok,
I thought when you Mutated only Traits that existed when the sylesti was created were available... (I'm pretty sure that's what I read somewhere) Like when regening...
(LOL @the little vs big posts comment)
Is Garland one of your favorite Traits? (It seemed particularly significant that Spelf's had it. ^_^ )
Also, I think I'd like to have
if you don't want to keep her. :o I'm terrible at coming up with pricing, so please don't be offended if I say a crazy price... S: You can just tell me a more reasonable price if I do. >u< What about... um... 500 gold? O_O;

@Varyntha
That rule applies for regens, but not mutators!
When you use a mutator on a pet, it can add any new traits...
For example...
I bought this guy before the revamp
and then after the revamp I gave him tropical gene, which is new: (clickable picture)
Things to be aware of when mutating, though:
1) pet must be un-bred before mutating
2) You can only mutate once
3) The greater mutates allow you to choose the change, with lessers it is random hit and miss.
I set the pet up for you, and yes, I really like garland. It is significant since it is currently the highest trait in M2 slot, but when the lunemara revamp happens, it might become less significant as more traits are likely added.

Oh, I see... :o That's good to know! :D Thanks for the info! ^D^
Thank you! ^D^ I will go pick her up after I post this post. :D
I also like Garland a lot; it makes me want to make so many projects (well, as do most Traits inspire project ideas xD ). xD I see; that makes sense. ^_^

Amarok, are you certain that Mutators don't work on pets that have already been bred?
I know that is true of the Philter of Trait Disruption, but I thought Greater and Lesser Mutators disregarded whether a pet had been bred or not. I think I remember once buying a pet that hadn't been genetically tested, because I thought I could figure out its Carried traits from the traits of its parents, who had been tested. To my surprise, the pet turned out not to have the Carried trait I thought it had, because its mother had been Mutated to have that Vis trait after producing her first egg (which hatched into the pet I bought).
In Lunemara news, this egg has a 25% chance of being the first 6-Vis Anthias Lunemara!

I am not totally sure, so I assumed. Also I think I remember trying to mutate one of my AW birbs once, and it not working because I bred it. However, there is one good way to test this confusion.
This girl volunteers to be the test subject.
You can see that she has had 1 child and is un-mutated. She expresses her wish to have ladybug wings.
Oh my! It worked! She is so happy.
I'm glad I was mistaken and had false memory. This is good news for my lunes and lupes in stasis field!
And further proof of this:
Take a look at the offspring even though the mother is showing those vis wings
such paradox... *x-files theme plays*

She's lovely, Amarok.
I wish Lunes were getting a new Mutation, but perhaps the lack is a sign that they will get their re-vamp soon (fingers crossed, making it hard to type).
Also, everyone can feel free to comment on the Lune design I submitted for the contest--"Wicked Good Lunemara." Especially if you have improvements to suggest or see a flaw that I missed.
This is a variation on my earlier "Wicked Good" Lunemara. I think this works better, particularly when Gene Three is visible (the colors can seem to shift weirdly!).

@ Spelf
pretty design! I'll look over it in the generator for any possible flaws at some point in the near future.
