Sorry that I can only afford to use lesser dyes, but I'll be needing whatever greater dyes I can get for the light and dark ones (I'm dreading trying to get the right colours on those). I haven't done much dying, so I wasn't sure how accurate lesser dyes were. You're right that the M1 is close enough to not need the dye, so it's probably best to use those dyes for fixing the male's colours. It's good that only two of the colours are significantly inaccurate and that we can save the two dyes on the M1. I think try again for C1 and C2 and ping me again when that's done so I can figure out if I need to send you more dye.

Much better! :)
And yeah, lessers can be a nightmare. I've had some very foul luck with dark and light colors the most since they can completely change hue. A dark red, for example, can easily result in a dark green because of how the color hexes change. I gave up on a project after spending 7 or so dyes to turn the greens back to red on three regular generated pets. Three failures in a row on this guy for the same slot, and I was done. -__-
If you have any greaters, I would definitely save those for the extremely pale or dark colors.
And just to take a peek, here are some breeding previews between the pair. :)

There's still a small chance (25% on each) of getting Leaf Veins or Pampas Tail, but the odds are stacked in favor of the original design.

It's so satisfying to see the design made into a completed project!
Would you mind breeding me a male and a female with the original traits visible?

The first of your Earth Aeridini hatched! But he was hit with the 25% chance of Pampas Tail instead of Aparajita Tail. x_x Didn't expect it to go against the odds for the first attempt.
Still set for you if you want him but I'll still get you another with the Aparajita Tail either way.

Thank you! :D
I'm going to give the failure one to my sister who's struggling with battles at the moment.

I'm starting to see real progress! Still a ways from being completed, but I just bred this male:
Why's he so special, you might ask? Well, he's doubled up on every gene you want (except the body), which means 5 of 6 traits are locked in. I'm going to start adding in the g1 gene shortly, that's the one I didn't already have on a max stat project, but I have been able to now produce a max stat male with it so adding it won't be hard (just time consuming).
Cheers!

That's fantastic, thanks for the update! Good luck with getting the last trait and I'll make sure to have dye ready for when the breeding's finished.
