You hear hacking behind you, from where you left Greyclaw, but after that no more noise. It seemed like Greyclaw had fought to take a final breath after it'd seemed over. As you run aimlessly, you hear the thud of a tree as it broke, landing directly in front of you.

I skid to a halt as the tree fell. I decide that staying in the burnt forest is too dangerous, and decide to go to the marshy swamp.

Thornkit let out a raspy mewl before falling asleep, his chest rising and falling gently. You also fall asleep and wake up in the burning forest, the cries of your clan mates as they fled the camp filling your ears once again, it was only a dream but beside you was the old leader, Crimsonstar, looking down at the destruction with wide, shocked eyes.

I look around as my ears are down / then looks at Crimsonstar / this is bad...what do we do

You remember that Crimsonstar had died in a fire like this many moons ago, when twolegs had been careless. Back then, only a little bit of the forest had been burnt down, nothing like now, "Just know, we'll always be there for you." behind you, a starry spirit with a grey pelt padded up. You began fading away, waking up in the real world, realising it was Greyclaw, one of the senior warriors.

(Yes, this world is connected. You can meet up with other cats, you all share the past clan, but you do not realise the others are alive.)

Just in case, I pad down to the ravine, in case the dens could have sheltered someone.

You can't find anyone in any of the dens until you approach the last one, the elders den. At the back you can see a pile of rocks in a circle formation, which could hide a small warrior or apprentice from flames. You could tellt he camp had been properly damaged as if a fire hurricane had torn right through it.

Waking up, you realise Greyclaw must've been dead, at least you had seen her starry spirit one last time. Thornkit wriggles, tickling against your stomach. He was still asleep, you notice his leg looked a lot better than yesterday.

Greyclaw had disappeared and your talking had woken up Thornkit. He let out a wide yawn and looked up at you, his eyes full of sleep. His fur was ruffled up, as if he'd had a nightmare.
