I decide to go

Sine leads you North towards a small cottage with smoke puffing out the chimney. "Go ahead," he says. "Knock."

As you head north, the climate becomes colder. You enter a forest full of glowing plants and absolutely no animal life.

She flattened her ears and flicked her tail before knocking softly once

"It's alright, don't be shy." Sine smiles softly at you. He's about to say more, but the door swings open. An old mage rubs his eyes firefly. "Who's there?" He asks. He then sees Sine. His eyes widen and he appears to panic. "You.. You... you're...!" He points a shaking finger at the boy.

I frown, and make some noises, looking for a response from any living, breathing matter.

You hear a gurgling sound in front of you; it's a luminescent octopus. There is one problem, however. It isn't alive. And it's charging at you.

Platinum flicks her tail and looks at Sine

"You're back! You're Fate, aren't you?! I thought Destiny sealed you into the void a couple hundred years ago!" He shook his staff at Sine. "I'm not giving your power orb back!" He points at you. "Run while you still can, young lady! Save your soul! The sun will be upon us soon! May death be upon Fate!" The old man started waving frantically and doing weird dances. Sine looked at you. "Don't trust the old man... He's lying. He stole my orb two days ago by the edge of the forest and didn't return it, even if I ask." He does his best puppy eyes. "Please get it back for me?"

"You want to learn blacksmithing? I'm sorry, I can't teach you. I'm only here to craft stuff for payment. However, there is a rumor that you can learn ANYTHING in the Capital of Ethernys, Sky City."
