Fia impatiently sat with the teachers, even as a child she had hated these long meeting type things. 'Soo bored!' She thought to herself, wishing it to be over so she could get on with her own things. She glanced at the Headmaster. Practically trying to control him to say it was over, although she knew it was impossible for her to do that.

Dragonix leaned against a wall and watched everyone with intent blue eyes. Her large draconic wings were folded neatly against her back and her long, macelike tail was curled around her waist twice to keep from tripping anyone. She had enough courage and friendliness to talk to strangers but the hard part was picking who. She divided everyone into group in her mind by observing their personality and the people they hung out with personality. If anyone was sneaking up on her, she wouldn't have noticed.

Fia glanced down at the pamphlet she had placed on the table and flipped it open to a random page about the students. Quietly she muttered to herself, "Elena.... Caladrius... Fern... Amarok." She flipped a page. "Nik... Demon Cat." There were so many different species that she hadn't seen previously.

It was quite boring standing there all by himself, so Kelsier decided to walk around. As he looked at others he was able to tell what their other half was. There was a centaur, a few dragons, even a unicorn. Not wanting to return to the corner, he continued walking round.

Elena eventually found her way to the front lobby. Despite being the first one to arrive at the school, she was almost the last one to get to the lobby. She wasn't sure who to start talking to, there were more half-breeds in one spot than she had ever seen before. Oh right, my cousin is a nurse here! She remembered suddenly, stopping in the doorway to reminisce on the few memories she had with her.

The half harpy made her way to the office, still unwilling to make conversation with the other students. What if none of them liked her? After all, harpies were considered dangerous to some people. The winged girl just cleared the thoughts from her head- and bumped into Elena.

Kyle wanted to knock his head against the wall. Wait- was there another demon here? Oh, wow. At least Kyle wasn't alone... Yeah, this was plenty confusing. Or confuzzling, as some of Kyle's friends might say cheerily and sassily.

He continued wandering around. There really wasn't much to do in the place- at least not yet anywho.

Dragonix sighed and moved from her spot. She crossed over to another spot but didn't even curling her tail. It lay out in the open, 6ft long. Her long brown hair was up in a ponytail and the stray hairs were held back with a blue Nike headband. Her ocean blue eyes scanned the crowd looking for anyone to talk to. She bat her wings once to excersise them. She got bored and started hovering.

Noticing a girl with wings, Vidra decided to talk to her. She had always wanted wings and wanted to know what it was like to fly. Walking over to the harpy girl, Vi started to strike up a conversation.

I finally get used to all the smells, and uncurl slowly. I stand up, shaking my wolf head. I never noticed I changed. I become my human self, and stand up. I still am wary of the unicorn. I don't want to remember my past right now. I keep to the shadows, circling the room, looking around, memorizing faces.
