((Oh no, it was actually something on Amazon LOL. I was deliberating over different kinds of tripods for a camera I wanted to buy. xD; ))
Aris saw the ryori try to curb her own excitement, the orbs slowing their spin. "Ah, same, I woke up on the beach too. My name's Aris, what's yours?"

(Ah. You're still lucky! No "black friday" for me irl)
"I'm Atropos." I dip my head in respect "Shall we work together? We'll need to survive in an unknown environment."

((Aw, it's okay, there's always time in the future to buy stuff. And it's better to save than spend. ;w; ))
"Nice to meet you Atropos." Aris bowed her own head to mirror the ryori's sentiment. "Sure, that's a good idea. Putting a couple of heads together should help."
Aris looked over to the edge of the plateau that faced the rest of the island. "I came up here so I could take a better look of where we were. It looks like we're on some sort of wild island." She walked over slowly to the edge, scanning the view of the other trees and plateaus from where they were. "We probably should find a place to rest, since the sun's going down. Don't want to be walking around in the dark and all."

(On top of the big plateau there's a smaller plateau as seen on the map, just a heads up. Also, I'm changing to third person)
Atropos gestured to the smaller plateau on top of the one they both currently stood on. "Yes, we're on a wild island. I don't think we can make it down to the forest with the sun already setting. Maybe over there? The smaller plateau's side should provide a shelter against the wind." She squinted. "There are small cracks in the wall and bigger cracks that we could probably comfortably fit in, and maybe caves. Tomorrow when the sun rises again we could look for resources to build a small home up here."

((Sorry to force you into 3rd person. ;w; I just wanted to practice my 3rd person ahaha.))
Aris turned around to see the smaller plateau. "Oh, good catch. I mean, if we fit." She walked over to the plateau's walls with Atropos to find a little inlet to rest in. "Yeah, gathering resources would be good. If we can call this place a home, and we're close to a reliable source of food...why not?"

(Oh nuu, you didn't force me into 3rd person xD I just thought for this rp it would work better if I did 3rd person)
"We could either build stuff on the plateau or dig into this small plateau to create a large cavern and build inside of it, if we were to settle here. I think it's a good idea! Just, getting wood would be a bit hard." Atropos poked her head into the inlet. "Pretty big here!" She slipped inside, her orbs glowing a faint black-ish grey light. "I think we should rest for the night."
(I wonder if Kate would let us gather resources when she's not here, cuz I'm planning on doing that)

((Ooh, that sounds good. o: If gathering resources is easy lol.))
Aris tilted her head. "It'd probably be easier to rest in a cavern than build up a new home from scratch...but...digging into a rock wall isn't easy, unless I were a ny'vene or something." She didn't want to be pessimistic, but realistically, a small puffadore and an ethereal ryori probably couldn't carve into the wall unless they had powers. And Aris didn't remember having any, having no memory before she was on the island.
She followed Atropos into the inlet. It was hard to tell how big it was without proper light, but it would do for now. "Yeah, good idea." Finding a cozy spot in the inlet, she laid down and sighed. "...Say, how would ryoris carry items anyhow?" she asked, somewhat curious about how Atropos could bring items like wood up the plateau.

"I, uh, carry them like a normal Sylesti?" Atropos offered awkwardly. "Sure, this body is only a projection of mine in the Shadow realm, but it's relatively solid. My orbs can help too!" An orb twirled in the air, throwing soft silver light into the small cave the two were resting in. "I doubt there would be any cavern big enough for us to build stuff in, so I guess we'll just build in the shadow of this small plateau we're currently staying in."
She looked outside at the sun; it was almost beneath the horizon now and temperatures were dropping. "I can hear the wind picking up." She notified Aris. "We have to put our homes nearby this plateau or else they'll probably going to be blown away in the wind."

"Ohhh...sorry, I don't think I've talked to a ryori before." Aris's gaze followed Atropos's orbs as they moved around, slightly delighted in the gentle light show. "That's fair. If the wind doesn't blow on this side of the plateau, then whatever we put up would be relatively safe."
She looked out the inlet, curling up tighter for warmth and rest. "I kinda dig the idea of making a home here," she chuckled, laying her head on her paws comfortably. "Nice view of everything, could use the inlets to sleep in or store stuff in, tons of space to make a neat camp in outside, and so far, it doesn't seem like there's anything dangerous."

"D'ya think the forest will have prey in it? Up here in the plateau there's obviously not so much, but we still have the sea for fish. We could take some dirt from inside here and use it on the surface of the plateau to grow some crops! We can even make a beacon somehow so that if anybody else is on this island they might want to come here." Atropos mused. "Are you cold?"
