"Sure!" I put my tack down on somewhere that looked convenient and hurried over to her. "I'll carry the big bucket, if it's okay with you?"

There was somewhere to hang your tack on the side. Ilya nodded, "She'll only need half a bucket full from the well" she walked over towards the haystack and well, "oh, i'll need to go to the food and grooming room in the upper stables for the oats I'll see you in a bit" she called out, running off past the well.

Mel glances at her retreating body and then back at the well. Half a bucket, yes? There were two buckets. Melody decides to do the reassuring thing and fill both buckets with half, so they could dump the unneeded one back into the well if they were only using one bucket. Ilya was an optimist, saying the bucket would be half full?

Melody lugs the water bucket towards her. "Pretty long, coming from the other end of Asia."

"Wow. Was your horse bred from around here, then?" her eyes went slightly round as she walked back to the stall.

"We did pass along Arabia," Mel said, following her. "And I got Astraeus there. I really like her, and hope she likes me back. Could you give me tips on how to understand a horse's emotions?"

She thought about it, "I guess just get to know them. practise, see what they panic at, likes and dislikes in training. I've knows Frosty since she was a foal."
