I know, but, like, if Night is an element, why isn't Day or Sun?

I suppose it just didn't quite fit in the way the others did. Besides, SandWings are somewhat SunWings; they're gold and they live in the desert.

Well think about it. Here look at this:

SkyWings : SeaWings

IceWings : SandWings

RainWings : MudWings

NightWings : NOTHING

NightWings don't have an opposite. So, like, SunWings.

Eh, RainWings to MudWings dont seem to be too much of opposites. I personally think that leaving NightWings to stand alone would be fine, and better than throwing something like a SunWing into the mix.

RainWings don't care who is related to who. They throw they're eggs in the same hatchery without a second glance (Not that I don't like RainWings, they're my favorite tribe), and when the eggs hatch they just mix them in one big nursery thing. The MudWings stay in one fixed hatching (Litter?) and stay with it until they die. The RainWings hate to fight and would rather sit around eating mangoes than rescue another dragon. The MudWings would do anything to save a sibling or even just another dragon.

I understand. I just don't feel that they're as strong of opposites as say, SkyWings and SeaWings. I also don't believe that any other dragons should be added to the mix for a while. Had SunWings been something existent since the beginning of the series, that would be one thing. They already have a backstory, and have been living in Pyrrhia for as long as all the other tribes. But now? I don't think they could be easily added into the series; they might have to live on their own continent. If they were to serve the role as the NightWings' "opposite", I feel they might have to be more present in Pyrrhia, which would cause a lot of tension in other tribes if a new species of dragon showed up one day and.. asserted themselves. It also feels like if they added SunWings, it would be less of a "cool, new continent and new dragons!" type of thing and more of a """money grab""" (I am not saying Tui would do that or anything, quite the opposite. But you can see others doing this where they add some new concept that was never intended to be a thing for the series, just because there are people who will suck up all the content they provide, good or bad). Like said earlier, you can see the themes of the two continents, one being more elemental, and the other being focused down on nature. If there were to be a third continent, which isn't too far out there considering that Jerboa(?) states that Pyrrhia only takes up about 1/3 of the entire planet they live on, and Pantala may be the same case, then I can only imagine that Tui would think up a few more tribes all tied down to a theme. I can't think off the top of my head any themes that might include something along the lines of SunWings. Maybe things that relate to senses? I think I have seen something like an EchoWing fantribe before, but not sure. It's all a big mess thinking about it.

yes well all i was trying to say is SunWings would be cool, so I don't know why we started this argument. ANYWAY, maybe SunWings could have their own little island? Or maybe they were a tribe during the Scorching but there was to territory for them so they left? Or maybe they just went extinct or started mingling with other tribes so much they disappeared? I'm not saying they would be a modernly... alive tribe, just that they should exist.
