Based off the gorgeous Ulysses Butterfly.

I didn't choose the most brightly coloured butterfly, merely one whose name had always inspired me: The Peacock Butterfly




I chose two of the three visual traits for irony, the peacock crest and tail, however these did give me a lovely approximation of the eye spots. The third, Turkey I am less sure about, I used it to mimicking the striping on the front of the butterfly's wings, but this works better on cream feathers while the eyespots work better on the red fethers. I have both versions and may consider switching them before the contest is done.

It was hard to choose the right Sylesti, because this design is kind of specific and has more dots than anything. I've always wanted to make a butterfly Sylesti design and now I actually had a reason!

Based off the the Green Swallowtail (also known as the Peacock Swallowtail).

Based on the Birdwing Butterfly (Aka my favorite in Animal Crossing)

Swallowtail butterfly! Here's mine! I chose butterfly wings for an obvious reason! The species I chose is Zolnixi, female to be exact! the three traits she has are Ocelot(I couldn't find any other gene I liked, and I wanted her to have at least one gene! Ocelot is the one I stuck with because it looks kind of like the spots some swallowtails have!) Sugarplum Flower(why not? Butterflies drink nectar from flowers, so I thought it would be cute!) And Butterfly Wings(obviously I chose this mutation because it's based off of a butterfly, and I thought 'well, since it's based off of a butterfly, why not give her the butterfly wings mutation?') So I hope this gets noticed and maybe even chosen! I really want a beautiful pet, and I'm sure she'll be a beautiful baby to have(my Sylesties are babies to me, I never let them go unfed for usually more than a day, because I usually log on every day, sometimes more than a day is the amount of time they go unfed, but I still love them either way!) in my stables! :3
