I am Her.

Oh, you know. Her.

The Her that came back with you when you went camping a few weeks ago.

The Her that lingers in the corner of your eye, but you can never properly turn to look at.

The Her that fills the empty corners of your house with whispers, and moves things ever so carefully so that you don't even realize I've done it.

I am Her.

And I want You.

She was out hunting vampires and fell victim to the charm spell of one. She quickly regained her senses but it was too late, she had been turned. She still hunts vampires though she has become one.

The Dragon Terror
A shadow in the night and a fiery inferno in the day the Terror of Dragons has never been seen in its true form. It is a monster of destruction that was once human but was cursed by a dragon and was transformed. It now seeks revenge upon the humanity that betrayed it and dragonkind that cursed it.

heck yea let's do it :o (sorry for the length, i like horror writing ^^; and there was literally no way i could shorten it)

The Blood Demon Odol, and its companion Gaiztoak

Azalia felt the fog clinging to him with cold fingers as he wandered deeper, lost, into the dank forest. He shivered. Looking around, he could see nothing but trees, and a red glow from above, shining from several stars. Then they disappeared for a heartbeat, before returning to again bathe him in a gentle brilliance. Wait, he thought with a stab of fear and panic. Those aren't just lights. Those are eyes. Wh-why are they following me? Azalia fought back a shudder as fright drew a cold talon down his spine. His sight fell into blackness as the glow winked out altogether. Something rubbed against his ankles - a cat, perhaps?

Azalia reached down to feel around, but as he touched what felt like a tail, something smashed across the back of his head. Letting out a sharp cry of pain, Azalia collapsed. I- I can't move! he panicked silently as he tried to get to his feet. The red glow suddenly returned, blinding the boy as he lay stunned on the ground. "What have we here? An insolent child who dares to walk these woods? Have you not heard the rumors of this forest, or of the demon Odol?" a voice purred. It sounded like many snakes hissing in unison. Azalia peered up to see a dark figure wrapped in red and black, and a small feline shape sitting near its feet. Both stared at him with piercing red eyes.

The demon spoke again; this time, its voice was as hard and cold as ice. "And I'd suppose you know that you should never, ever, touch my precious little Gaiztoak." A sadistic grin spread across the demon's face. "But it appears I was wrong. For you see..." it flicked a hand at the cat. To Azalia's astonishment, it disappeared. Then a monstrous creature materialized in its place. Huge red eyes glared down at the boy. Its muscular blood-colored body, spattered with black markings, loomed up to a terrifying height. The gold adornments became chains. "... you end up calling out his true self! Now, my pet." Odol laid its hand on the beast's flank. "Finish him." As Gaiztoak bared its fangs and lunged with its claws outstretched, the last sound Azalia heard was maniacal laughter.

Odol is Basque for "blood", and Gaiztoak is Basque for "evil"

The Eternal Queen

The Eternal Queen was once a human. After getting swallowed by the spirits of the forest, she met a dragon in human form who had also been caught by the forest. Being afraid of dying a horrible death, as she had seen the spirits do to another poor soul who had been ensnared, she made a deal with the dragon. In exchange for her life, she would become his wife and live in his cavern kingdom. Little did she know, the dragon was actually one of the nine prices of (h-e-double toothpick) and because humans cannot age down there, only fade, she had signed away her life, for you cannot have life without death. If you ever come down there, you will see her waving with a sad smile on her face. Come when she beckons, for she will give you a soul-apple, which prevents her husband from finding you, for living souls are like the brightest of flames, and he will find you immediately. As you leave, she will show you off with that same bittersweet smile, and be content that she had saved another soul from her husband's bitter game. And she will wait, and wait, and wait, until the next soul comes with their own story.

You thought you won. I will make sure King Phineus rues the day he met Jason when we shred them to pieces. This time I win. There's no one left to save you now.

Or, in other words, a harpie back for revenge.

(Reference to harpies chased off by Jason and the Argonauts in case anyone was wondering what's going on.)

VENGEFUL CORPSE BRIDE

Everyone knows of how grand "Happily Ever Afters" are. Riding off into the sunset with your Prince Charming in a horse drawn carriage. Living peacefully out the rest of your years together in each others arms in some fairy tale castle. Of having children even to lavish affection on before passing on to the great wide wonder. However, for this poor wretched soul that life of fantasy was but a wishful dream of a young lass that was robbed of her happily ever after the very night of her own wedding.

No, it was not to be for her at the young age of twenty three. A beautiful young daughter of a prominent merchant that fell in love with whom and what she thought to be the love of her life. The perfect man that her father cared not for. No, in fact he forbade his lovely daughter whom had fallen hard for man not to so much as speak with him. Would tell her that he was only after her fortune, and what other affairs she had to offer. That he was nothing more than a serpent with a silver tongue.

Yet try as he might, they were always found together. The man seemed alright from the outside view. He lavished affection on her. He would buy her time in and time out again wooing her with flowers and other jewelry. Finally having enough of it, he told her to stop seeing him or he would disown her. Strip her of every possession, and cast her out. That he was done having a fool for a daughter that made their proud family the scandalous talk of the town.

Weeping, she unbeknownst to her father, ran from the house and straight into the arms of her lover. She informed him of her father's ultimatum. That she was being forced to end what they had. Her lover was not so inclined to accept this. Angered at first, he quickly calmed himself. He wanted what she had that much as true. So he calmed himself and use his sweet talking art again to calm her rattled nerves.

He spoke to her for a good long while, instructing her to listen. That there love would ring true and they would be together. He asked her to marry him. To get her a dress, and meet him in the woods. That they would run away and get married together. And that when they were husband and wife, they would return and force her father to accept that which he current could not.

To her it sounded reckless, scary, uncertain, but it was her heart that won out. She agreed, and ran back home to make her selection. And as she did so, she began to think upon what lie she would tell her father. The man whom gave her everything. The more she thought about it, the more she became torn. She loved her father dearly and didn't want to hurt him. However, she wanted to be with her love. She wanted to be free.

Unable to face her father, she wrote him a note explaining her choice. Placing it upon her bed, she carefully donned what would be her wedding dress. Carefully she brushed out her ear, and gazed upon her own reflection with in the mirror of her vanity. Her heart soared at the thought of being with the man that had swept her off her feet. She was throwing her entire life away to be with a man that she thought to be true.

However, soon she would learn the true colors of this vicious master mind. This soulless creature that had a silver tongue. But by then it would be too late. She knew not what lied a head of her, as she raced out of the house shortly after her father had retired. No, she ran with what little money she had in her purse making a vow to herself that this was for love. That this was the right thing to do.

It wasn't until she was startled by the light of her life after rounding the bend, that she actually stopped running. She took several long moments before she was able to catch her breath. The young man was patient with her, and smiled warmly at it. Once she was able to speak, she told him of what she had done. That they wouldn't have to go back, as she took care of it. That they could live together without her father or his money.

This angered him greatly. His once peaceful smile twisted into a wretched sneer of disdain and disgust. Quickly he ranted and raved at her about how her foolish actions had cost him. She was blown away by this sudden change. How could he be angry with her? She was confused and heart broken? She even pleaded with him to see her side of this, but all she got for the effort was a swift back hand that not only spilt her lip but sent her flying to the ground.

It was at this point she began to see the truth. That her father was right. That this man was only after her money and other merits. And she had carelessly thrown it all away for love...And as she felt him kneeling over her, pawing at her body tearing her dress chastising her for every little flaw, imperfection, and what he now cost him. Her heart broke even more.

Struggle as she might, there was no luck. No saving her. Her heartache turned to fear and hatred for this vile creature. And as she struck out at him, she felt the first painful slice of a pristine blade dig deep into her side. Crying out, she looked up at him in horror only to see him raise the blade she had no idea he possessed covered in her blood. And for a brief moment she realized this was it. This was the end, and no one would be there to save her. She would die miserable and alone in the woods near her family home. No family, no lover, no one but herself to mourn her.

Crying out one last time, the young bride to be felt the fatal blow that would send her screams echoing into the darkness of night as she now falls silent to the world around her. The young man on the other hand, being the crude and brutal monster that he was stood above her corpse. Tossing the knife aside, he snatch up her purse, parted ways leaving her body to rot without a care in the world.

Or so he thought. No...He was not going to be getting off lightly. No, in fact her spirit became restless with heartache and pain. It would not and could not cross over. He had to pay for what he had done. She wanted justice for this slight. To see the man that had cost her so much to go down for his crimes. Her will was strong, and her spirit began to rise. This young vengeful spirit would see to it that he would rue the day he had betrayed her. In fact she was bound by yet another vow she made right then and there to make sure he would never know love. That he would never again know happiness. And she would make certain that everyone he cares for now and forever more would feel her pain.
