Spartan sighed, the warm sun feeling good against his large pelt. He was calmly in the camp just enjoying his packs company. Delta's were sparing, Gamma were planning hunting parties, and the pups scurrying around. He wished that one of these days he could have pups. As the heir and now Alpha of this pack he was required to have an heir much before he was 4 years of age, or at least a litter of pups to secure his role as alpha of the pack till his death, if not any young hot blooded would could challenge him for his role as they might be a lot more promise then he, and he knew this very well. He sighed at the thought. Why was it even a requirement? If a wolf was to be infertile then they weren't useful as an alpha no matter then gender. He sighed again with a growl this time and a few of the wolves closer to him scooted away slightly. He stood to his paws, his massive weight making his paw pads press marks into the earth. He ventured into the deep forest with fierce hard steps. His anger making him seem aggressive while his kind eyes making him looked nothing more the troubled. Soon he was at his most favorite spot in his entire territory.. His fathers grave. He laid beside it and spoke in a small voice. " Why me father? Arrow was much more suited to this, and Talon had a mate already.. We both know I am not going to lead long.. ".

The white wolf continued to Splash about and play in the meadow, bounding after butterflies or splashing about in the stream. He yipped as he chased after a rabbit, having no intentions of catching the prey. "I'm going to get you!" He teased to the smaller animal. Though as he topped a small hill near the shore of the small lake off towards the center of the meadow he tripped. Yelping he tumbled once before coming to rest in the mud. He didn't stay down long though as he jumped up yelping. Something was caught about his paw preventing him from running off towards the pack. Crimson blood stained his pearly coat about where the strong jaws clamped down on his flesh.

Spartans ears perked forward at the sound of the yelping accompanied by the smell of fresh blood in the air. He stood calmly, thinking that it was likely a rouge or coyote that got attacked by another animal. He started off towards the area where he had heard the sound, the fresh smell of the blood getting stronger. He laughed a little to himself getting ready to give whomever was hurt the biggest lecture before he even thought of letting them go. It was a cruel thing he did but he knew after they would never get caught by a trap again, as no one liked his giant rants on safety and how they were lucky he had found them. He called out loudly, " Who is there! " His strong, deep voice was one of both power and control, but not in a cold way. He started to look more, not able to find whatever creature.

As he stood there tugging on his leg to try and get free something much stronger than him forced him to the ground. The yelping continued before the pressure about his leg was released and he was once again allowed to stand. The soft smell of burning grass filled his nose as he looked up. Over him stood the dark wolf, ways of pure amber gazing down at him. The two exchanged a glance before the black wolf looked up. At the alpha's voice the larger of the two wolves turned and dashed off to the tree line once more. Dawn watched, struggling to stand from his injury. At this he couldn't help but wonder just who the other wolf was...

Spartan finally found the wounded Dawn and rushed over to him, " Are you alright? What happened? Who wounded you? How did you get out? " The fatherly side of the alpha was coming on strong again, and he knew it very well. He didn't even notice the slightly odd scent in the air. He instead was worrying about the small omega. " Are you able to walk? If not you can lean on me and I can help you back to camp. " Spartan was very fond of this omega, so fond in fact he had named him after his own father when he was first found. Because of this he always was worried for him, and a tiny bit overbearing at time. His icy blue eyes scanned the body of the wolf again, checking for more wounds on him.

Obedience led him to cowar before the alpha, low crawling before showing his belly to the much larger wolf. "I stepped in a two leg jaw sir. A rouge wolf came and saved me though he ran off before you showed up." Dawn whimpered.

Spartan noticed this and just grinned, " Get up boy, you shouldn't hurt yourself more. It will make work harder for you if you have to keep getting up on that paw. I am glad that someone was looking out for you though. " He remembered himself and acted as alpha again, and stood tall and confident, his tail curled upwards showing that he was just as good as his father. He turned to the path he had come from. " Alright, are you ready to get going? "

"Yes sir." Dawn said as he stood. He held his injured paw up off the ground, limping on it as they walked. Throughout the trip he held his tail tucked, and his head down. After all he was the lowest rank there was. He didn't really mind though, after all he could disappear and no one questioned it. Crow followed them at a safe distance, watching the injured wolf more so than the alpha.

Raindrop heard the sound of a wolf yelping and looked around, was camp under attack. She heard it again and she could not stand it no longer.
"Phoenix, can you please bring back the freshkill," Raindrop barked. Raindrop walked up to the pup and picked it up by its scruff. The pup started squirming but Raindrop kept a strong grip on the pup. Raindrop sprinted back to camp. On her way to camp she saw Spartan and Dawn. Raindrop noticed Dawn's paw was bleeding.
"Are you ok," Raindrop barked dropping the pup.

Blaze watched as the wolf that had picked him up asked if the wolf was ok.
They are weak, he thought.
He walked up to the biggest wolf and looked up to him.
"Your pack is weak, you should leave that wolf to die, he is useless," Blaze growled at the big wolf.
