Maxine Nevermore | Female | 19 | Captain | Location- Helm | Interactions- Defiance, new recruits, Open
Maxine smiled gratefully to Defiance as she addressed the crew for her.. and she at the moment decided that every captain needed a Quartermaster. Stepping forward now standing beside Defiance with an almost playful grin that could remind anyone of her past self before the old captains death.
" I have made a choice for our crew, every captain needs a quartermaster.. and no matter what if I am not here someone must lead when I am gone.. just as you will now address me as Captain... I want Defiance to be my quartermaster. I trust her as if she were as though she was my own blood.. and now we rise again, the next generation of the Nights revenge! " Maxine held a little bit of pride in her voice saying it, and she smiled towards Defiance. Hoping she wouldn't fight about her new rank.
Soon, they were at the harbor and Maxine was ready to address her crew with all the strengths she had left within her. She would lead them all well.. For shadow.. for her fallen crewmates.. for revenge..

Again, Orca. No one-line replies. I know you are capable of at least five sentences. Please put your character's name, location, and interactions, as well as any other basic info about them at the top of your post to make it easier for everyone else to keep track of characters. This is your second warning; I'm giving you three.
If you don't believe me when I say you can get over five sentences of her swimming, read this.
Tracey put one hand out in front of her then drew it back in a wide sweeping motion along her side, then did the same with her other arm, propelling herself through the water. There was nothing she loved so much as being able to swim in the cool, clear water of the island. She much prefered to be out away from the town, able to dive and play alone, but as dusk gathered she had had to begin swimming back. Tracey couldn't pretend she wasn't tired. Even a girl who seemed to spend more time in the water than out of it would end up exhausted by an entire day in the water, not to mention the dehydration stemming from both the swelteringly hot sun and the salty water finding its way into her mouth and drying out her tongue no matter how tightly she tried to seal her lips.
Now, Tracey spat a thin stream of the salty water back into the sea. In between two of the piers was a fresh water stream that emptyed into the shady harbour, only occupied by a ragged, leaky-looking merchantman that likely didn't have anything on board worth the trouble it would be for pirates to raid it, and a small sloop with several armed men guarding the deck against theives. The freshwater made the sea here cold, making even Tracey, a girl used to the cool waters, shiver. She never enjoyed leaving the water here, as it attracted too many stares. Much better to leave where no one could see and walk back into town.
Just as she was preparing to climb out of the water, motion on the horizon caught her eye. She flipped about in the water, kicking off the pylon of the pier to propel herself to just under the end of the furthest dock.
A light, beautiful black ship limped into the harbour. Even the sails were black, patched withgrey, even though the mainsail was full of holes, and the hull and gunwales bore the evidence of a recent cannon fight with another ship.
Tracey had no ida how she knew, but she was obviously a pirate ship. Maybe it was the fact that she was painted so dark to serve better on night raids, or that she knew the most likely explanation for the damage was that they were indeed pirates who had faced a run-in with the Royal Navy.
Trace shrank back, not wanting to be spotted by the pirates. She wanted to flee, but strangely enough, found she couldn't.
Then her heart stopped beating as one of the pirates looked directly at her.
Phew, that was SO hard, right? That was barely any of Tracey swimming, and I still managed to crush the 5-sentence rule. Your turn now, Orca.
Ophelia watched as the ship approached then boarded it.Once she got on deck, she approached the captain.Im Ophelia Harrow.I want to join your ship as a sailor.Im good with healing and medicine,Im smart and pick up skills quickly.I hope to join your ship.I introduced myself.I stood tall and held out my hand. She hoped to make a good impression. She studied the captains body language and facial expression to decide what kind of person she was.

Tracey | Near the Night, in the water | open
Tracey was just...swimming. Because why not? SHe hated walking-too cumbersome. And besides, it was much cooler near the water.
She watched as a girl approached the captain. She wondered if she could snag the mapper slot...At least that was omething she could d o with ease.
Maxine nodded with a grin, trying to keep what pain ached in her body out of how she moved, talking, or looked at the moment. She shook Ophelia's hand firmly, " Welcome aboard Ophelia, I be Captain Nevermore but please, call me Maxine. " She said with a grin still lining her lips. " We hope that yer' ta feel welcomed 'ere. "
( It's kinda difficult to see were the talking starts and ends without " ", could you add them or just color your words..? )
I nodded and went over to the side.I looked out to the place I was leaving behind.*Goodbye.I wont miss you.*I whispered.I thought over the captain Maxine. She had acted odd but perhaps she was just stressed.I still thought that she was acting peculiar. She seemed nice though.I smiled at the thought of this new adventure.
(Sorry about the speech marks Im on mobile.Ive used * instead)
