Archer Wolfram Percival
Archer tailed quickly behind the duke, exhaling. He was still nervous from the Dowager's anger, cramming his shaking hands into the pockets of his formal robes.

"Perhaps it may be worth paying the Empress an apology, but I do not know if our word alone is worth anything to her."

Aedan De Doria

Aedan was feeling anxious and guilty. He had been involved in a scandal on his first day at court, while he was representing his family.

"You are right. We should apologize to the empress. She would certainly be more willing to hear us if we find her before her mother tells her about the incident".

"Agreed. It is not worth sullied honor over some rather harmless celebrations choices."
Archer laughed a bit, tucking his wings under his cloak.
"Let us go then. I do not expect the royal chamber to be very far from here."

Aedan De Doria

Aedan smiled politely. He could not laugh about the celebration yet, not until he was sure that there would be no harmful consequences. Deep inside, he agreed that eating and drinking was rather harmless. Who knew if the emperor would not have even wanted to be celebrated with an extravagant feast? He had been known for liking the pleasures of life. But, it violated their ancestral traditions.

"If I remember correctly, the royal chambers are located on this side". He said, pointing a large corridor.

"i have coins and i promise i wont tell a soul, thief's word." she said placing a hand on her heart and on in the air. She was still grateful to be alive soul or no soul, the was no good price for a soul in her eyes.

"Excellent. Er.. Though I suppose a thief's word isn't worth much, it is true that you would be hard pressed to put a price on a soul these days or even find any takers. The church makes sure of that." He said with a bit of laugh as he started strolling back to the city.

"Let us go while the night remains. It will be much harder for you to traverse the city come daylight. You.. really should consider investing in a means to conceal your appearance if you intend to keep robbing the capital blind, lest the people blind you."

Archer Wolfram Percival
"I'll follow your lead. The Empress of Arkaos, quite frankly, terrifies me. Like walking on delicately prepared eggshells. It is nothing at all like the whimsy of dealing with an boisterous elven king."

"well you'd be surprised, if you see a thief but one hand over their heart and one behind their back its not true, if you see one put their hand up then it is." she said smiling "Yeah maybe a new cut or new cloths, but that cost coin and i need to save up." she said walking smiling.

"Ah.. Thief's code. I do have some familiarity with that. When I still lived in Caemid, I had a friend by the name of Armand. He did dabble in some larceny from time to time when he was sure the rest of the noble courts had no means to catch him. And it was quite right, he was very quick on his feet."
He chuckled and flicked his ears up nervously under his hood as they passed by the guardposts into the city, scanning it for any other ne'er-do-wells.

"Take it from me however. And I am a merchant. I know a thing or two about making coin. There is no coin to be made if you simply get yourself ousted from the capital day in and out. It may be a wise investment."
He dug out small coin purse and pressed several large coins into her hand before returning the rest of the coin purse to his bag.

"I can recoup this in a few days. Please. Consider it."

she looked at the coins confused "im not looking for the coin, im looking for the adventure. Might as well embrass the chaos then hide the chaos." she said laughing "plus i'm not liked by the public for certain qualitys about myself," she said looking down blushing. Oh how she wished she could stop and build a small cabin in the woods and have a pretty wife and maybe a small farm, but it was just a dream that would never happen.
