"Clarisse La Rue, daughter of Ares, and Percy Jackson, son of Poseidon. They have this weird relationship of enemy-frenemy or something, and the're both good, but Percy's slightly better." Piper explains.

On the arena fence, some campers are unhelpfully (or jokingly) calling out random suggestion.

"Fake left!"
"Soak her with water!"
"Knock his sowrd out from him!"

"Whaddaya think i'm trying to do?" Clarisse yells back. "If you're so smart, fight him yoursle,f Stoll!"

"They're good! I wish I could fight like that. I would have destroyed those Empousai who tried to kill me. If we are supposed to train, does it mean we often have to fight in Real battle?"

Piper grins at you. "Oh yes. it's actually a given. You see," she says, as Percy finishes the fight by knocking Clarisse's spear out of her hands, "demigods give out a scent. THe more powerful your parent, the greater the scent. Monsters can smell it. Some monsters are good, like our camp guard, Argus, and most...well, not so much. It's surprising to find older demigods above 15, but I found out when I was 16, so it's not totally unheard of. We do fight a lot, but because we just fought two wars, there's a lot less monsters romaing around. Enough that for once, Percy there managed to make it through a year of school without issues. Well,mostly." she laughs.

You find that while she's been talking, the two of you have been walking and now you're at a large lake. "Camp lake. We have naiads down here, quite chatty fish too according to Percy, but..no ne really knows."

"Are the naiad nice? I mean, can we talk to them, or would they try to drown us if we come too close or if we say something wrong? I know that in myths nymph are generally nice, but... I prefer to be sure. Also, are we allowed to swim in the lake?

Piper nodded. The nymphs, satyrs, and maids are nice. Mostly. Just..dont offend the nymphs or maids if possible. NSAIDs tend to forget easily but nymphs..not so much. Satyrs are kind of like regular people who just happen to have goat legs and like nature a lot. As for swimming-"

"Go right for it!" Percy, who has apparantly finished his dual, tells from behind, racing to the the she and cannonballing in.

"It's tempting to jump in like he did, but, yeah, it would probably not be very wise. Especially since those are the only clothes I have! And, I asked about the naiads, but I bet he could drown me if he wanted to!"

She looks at the huge strawberry fields.
"Oh, Can I eat one? I love strawberries. But, I have a question, how do you explain why there's a training arena in a strawberry farm?"
