No he didn't, if he wanted to murder people he would have gone for the top dog, the one in charge. He was actually trying to join, kinda. He's just bad at following orders, you could tell he was trying though.

He literally stabbed someone and is trying to stab the second in command
That's a little beyond not being good at following orders
That treads into "you just messed with the mafia" territory.

Yeah, and he kinda harmed an innocent cinnamon roll that didn't want him to be upset and was just gathering information for her future notebook.
Yeah... (no offense)

Lol xD, he is angry a lot and what he did was stupid but that's his personality. Sometimes I have trouble playing him because of how mean he is. Oh yeah also he thinks Lyla is weak... yeah. I'm okay with you guys saying he is not good at getting along but that was him trying to control his temper and fit in. He kinda failed though. Yeah Wes had that coming and Hatter about to have his******whooped.

'Course Ly is weak. She doesn't want to hurt people's feelings.

Yeah but Hatter does not understand what "feelings" are. He lost all his emotions but his anger and excitement a long time ago. It is explained with his backstory, even though no one but me knows what it is xD

*thinks about inserting rant about how mental illness and trauma in characters needs to be written with care and not just haphazardly as a character personality accessory, lest you piss off someone who legitimately suffers these conditions, but doesn't want to make an argument again about ptsd*
You know what, I'll just take it.
Like I feel bad for Hatter and I didn't want to let anyone die this early, but I don't find him sympathetic as a character at all and I'm not going to cut him any special treatment for it.
He's a little dangerously psychotic and unhinged actually and not in a productive way that benefits him or anyone else in any fashion. @_@
Wes has very strained empathy himself and he tends to look down on people for signs of weakness. Not to say he doesn't feel anything, but he doesn't feel bad for him when Hatter's hurt him and his own and has the nerve to tell him to leave his own turf. One he's second in command of.
And Hatter's already made a big fool of himself making enemies of the people willing to give him chance. Don't feel like this was targeted or anything but you literally wrote your character into a corner. ^^;

*sighs* I made this character so all my characters were not all just... well like me. I know PTSD is a serious thing and I know I'm not the best writer. I made him to be a jerk, a character no one likes, he is the unhinged "bad guy". He is more here so I understand how to play characters that are unreasonable and that most dislike. In case you haven't noticed I asked to make another character because I knew Hatter wouldn't be able to fit in with the groups... and your right, I should do more research about PTSD. I don't have it myself but I do have ADHD (my parents say I have ADD... don't trust them).

Nah, it just struck a nerve with me since I am someone with both depression and PTSD. I was trying not to say anything but it just felt a little forced and almost rubbed me the wrong way because I felt it was a means to just.. get sympathy out of other characters/players to pardon him?
I may just be speaking out of past experiences with similar sorts of characters and players who didn't exactly understand why their characters were problematic in their setting. I don't mean to assume that was your intention but that's the sort of read I was getting.
I might just have a hard time with mentally ill characters painted as the unhinged axe murderer though. Most people with even severe conditions are just that, people with conditions. The conditions might color their thoughts in certain directions, but it's not all they are and not all there is to them.
I understand inexperience is a thing and I definitely don't consider myself a good writer by any means either, I just wanted to offer some pointers.
There is ways to write 'likeable' villain or immoral characters regardless of condition or mental state, but I think it comes down to goals and motives you have for them. I like to boil characters down to all having a sort of goal they want and figure out how I have to write them for them to meet them.
