"Probably potion-making."

Vagabond sighed. He didn't have a good feeling about this.

"Yeah... Well we can either take it seriously and literally watch where we step or we just have to try to not anger this powerful being that we don't know anything about." Nikkie says, crumpling the paper in his hand.
"Onward?" He asks, motioning to the dark Labyrinth hall that lay ahead of them.

Kua-Rashianaka

"Yeah." She exhaled a bit, calming her nerves. You'll be fine. You'll be fine. You'll get out of this. Oh, who am I kidding? I probably won't get out of this.

"Oh. Good point." Sammantha says with a nod, placing the jar back down. The lamp light flickered, sending dancing shadows across the walls. Sammantha was suddenly transfixed by the light on the wall, batting at the light and the shadows when they came close.

A feathered quill picks itself up from the desk and begins writting in big loopy letters. 'Welcome to my workshop. Feel free to take something. But things come with a price. Sometimes just in food or
water. Other times in a friend, foe, blood, or daughter.' Then the quill drops back down to the desk.
So, it seems that you can take something, just have to hope it isn't too much.

The vials on the desk were noted as things such as but not limited to the following : 'exlir of life' 'potion of killing' 'powdered spell of ' - whatever was written on that one was crossed out - 'brew of strength' 'mixture of invisability' .

The farther you walk away from the enterance, the darker it gets. Strands of string begin to cover the hall in varying amounts.

Nikkie seems to be doing fine, the blood flowing from his shoulder slowing down to a trickle and then soon stopping completely. Nikkie stops a moment to inspect one of the pieces of string roped across the hall. "Spider web." He notes, running a finger down one of the threads. "Most likely a poisonous one, definitely bigger than the household spider, but probably doesn't like chasing its prey."

"Ugh, spiders. I hate spiders SO much." She shuddered at the thought of how big the spider could be.

"Meh. There are worse things than spiders. Like wolf spiders." Nikkie says, staring straight ahead as he continued his walk next to Kua. "Wolf spiders are scary. But there is absolutely no way that this one can be a wolf spider since this one has a web. Don't ask why wolf spiders are worse than spiders."

She opened her mouth, preparing to ask what happened to Nikkie but closed it quickly. She decided that it would be better not to know.

Vagabond doesn't take anything, as it may be fatal. Better safe than sorry.

Nikkie nods to himself as if something had just been affirmed to him. "I'm sorry for being a little harsh and rude and snappy. The truth is I'm just really nervous and scared inside here and want to leave. Not that I'd have anything to turn back to when - if - we escape this place." He says in a soft voice. He still walks and acts in a crisp and strict way, but maybe it is just his way with coping with stress.
A soft hiss sounds from above them. It seems they have found the spider that lives here.
