That of course was enough to set Newt off on another ramble on the subject (at one point he and his brother had gotten interested in the subject until they realized they couldn't use what they knew to get rid of their writing homework), though luckily he knew enough about magic to know not to spill that secret and proceeded to physically hold his jaw shut-a rather comical sight.

Asuriel watched Chester do his card tricks, amused. She'd seen people do tricks before, and even went through a phase where she tried to figure some out herself, to no avail. She softly tapped her foot as she watched, silently wondering how people were able to get the tricks to work so consistently.

Schylur smiles at the card tricks, enjoying the show and trying to figure out how Chester did it. When Asuriel came close, they offered Asuriel a seat next to them so she wouldn't be standing alone. They scooted over to make room for Asuriel.

"None taken." Kino says cheerfully when Chester tells him that it was probably best that he doesn't touch plastic cards yet. When Chester offered to teach him later, Kino had mixed feelings of excitement and the self conscious, 'I'll probably annoy him when I can't get it right because I never am able to do anything right'. He takes a seat some distance away and watches Chester show off some neat skills, knowing he'd never get good enough to do what Chester was doing.
