Having finished dropping Val and Joji off, DeHaro returned into the station, making a beeline to Kendo's office.

(Station)
Chief Kendo was blankly staring at his phone, a small bouquet of flowers on his desk seemingly addressed to him. He looked uncomfortable about something, nearly jumping out of his seat at the sight of DeHaro in the doorway.
He scooted the flowers to the window ledge behind him and motioned at a chair in front of him.

DeHaro
"Flowers.. This early? What happened?"
DeHaro rose an eyebrow as Kendo slid over a file to him and pocketed his phone.

Kendo
"Nothing, nothing. Good to see you so bright and early, Haro. Don't mind to keep ya too long, so let's just make this an easy one. Got a missing person's case here that you might find interest in. Ordinarily the detectives down here'd be handling this, but I think it involves one of the men you're looking for personally."

DeHaro
DeHaro flipped open the file, reading it over. He was about to ask the chief what he meant when his eyes rested on the man's military picture. He unclipped it from the file, looking it over closely before looking back at Kendo as if he was looking for some sort of answer.
He swallowed hard and returned the picture to the file.
"He's.. dead, Chief. But this might explain some things. I'll have Yuuko take a look over it and get back to you with anything we find.. But thank you."

Kendo
"..Figured as much. Guess my hunch was right. That poor girl." He sighed and shook his head. "He left behind a wife and daughter. Don't think I can break this news to them in good faith."

DeHaro
"..I'll take care of it." DeHaro turned to leave, just for the Chief to clear his throat to get his attention. He looked back at him with a look of confusion.

Kendo
"..Just one more thing, DeHaro. I.. I don't know how to say this, but your mother is awake. If you get a chance, she should go see her. I know she would want to see you."

DeHaro
DeHaro gave him a surprised look and checked his phone with a bit of a pained look on his face at the missed call and message left for him.
"..I will. Thank you, chief."

(sorry I spent most of yesterday having a mental breakdown from piano, that aside have I missed anything?)

(not really, group's been pretty much silent since I've been having my own set of mental issues atm. Idr the last place you were here but I think it was in the station so everyone there is just chilling.

I need to do an exposition post for Salvation Silence with Kiyo but my brain is not functioning long enough for me to actually get that done..)

Not dead, hopefully? Hard to tell around here, but I've just been busy and horribly writeblocked over the last couple days, so with my mental state recovered a bit, let's get this moving right along again.

With everyone in attendance, Kiyo started speaking to the group under Rei's watchful eye. Truth be told, he wasn't the best at public speaking and the whole situation got his nerves in a mess.

"So.. I'm well aware that everyone knows by now, but we've lost one of our own. Wes has been killed by a man simply known to most as Hatter. We suspect he was some sort of vigilante posing as a new member.

This is.. not the sort of thing any of us would expect to happen and honestly, I'm still in a state of shock over the whole affair.. But Rei has decided it would be best for us to move past it and if possible, reward anyone who brings that man in, dead, preferably.
As of now, I will be stepping up to second in command with Rei's appointment. I'm sure you all know already, but any orders coming off me may as well be treated the same as her own. Please no eyerolling, alright? Especially you, Mikal.."
He cleared his throat.

"On.. the next order of business.. We have our next objective at hand. Odessa, Leah.. You two will be tasked with bringing Yuuko Nakamura in here, but him alive please. Rei feels you two are best for the job, so let's try not to disappoint, mm?
It would be best to avoid tracing him to the police station, but if any of you have any idea of his personal residence or any spots he likes to frequent, now would be the time to pass that information off to the two.
Everyone else is dismissed for now. If we have anything else to task out, we'll give a call, just stay posted."

Mikal perked up. "I ran into him twice today. Once at an apartment....well, acually he dropped Ash on my head and nearly set me on fire again. So I might know his residence." Hed forgotten all about the callout. And was deciding to tactfully ignore he fact Wes was dead. Maybe for once bed be morneuseful hen jsut being a tree.

Unconsciously his legs had turned themselves into the trunk of a tree since shed been in tha position for a whole.

Rei
(Hideout)

She nodded as Kiyo spoke, keeping her eyes moving over her gang, ensuring that no one looked confused or lost. Once he concluded, she walked over to Lyla, giving Mikal a sigh as she passed.
"Lyla. How are you recovering?" She asked calmly, eying her wounds with a somewhat concerned expression.


Joji
(Plaza- hotel)

Joji woke up, wanting to wash her face. Once she had gotten into the restroom, she noticed that the sink was filled. Quietly, she drained it, wondering why it had been clogged.

In no more than a few minutes, her face was freshly cleaned. Joji was too sleepy to have remembered to put on her gloves, but also felt that sleep was no longer an option; However, coffee was a fantastic idea to her as of now. She wondered over to the coffee machine, having no idea what time it was. Quietly, she ran the machine. While she waited on it to brew, Kim went to work on a few of her developing gadgets, completely forgetting about her new roomate.
