Shadowspirit then let the medicine cat feed the warrior sleeping herbs

The herbs tasted absolutely disgusting, the Medicine cat almost had to force feed them to me.
They had an instant effect, they started making me dizzy and my vision foggy.
I then started to lose my hearing as everything darkened round me.

Deerstar laid in her temporary den and tried to sleep but couldn't. She struggled against the thought of Timberfur and what he had done to her.

Shadowspirit dragged the warrior away unaware that Deerstar was missing

I could still feel what was going on around me, every stone that dug into my pelt, every stick that scratched my side, and every ledge that I was dragged off send jolts of pain through the remainder of my tail.
I was starting to regain my senses, my nose could detect scents now, there was Shadowspirit, my old mentor, his apprentice and a few more warriors whose names I've forgotten.
My hearing was coming back, I could hear the rough breathing from the Warrior who was dragging me, the apprentice chatting to his mentor about what rats are like.
When we got close to the Carrion place, I started to smell crow food in mass proportions.
I felt the dragging stop, "Is here good?" Asked the Warrior who dragged me breathlessly.
"Here's fine, the rats have easy access to here, it the effects ware off before the rats get him, he won't have enough strength to climb out. Either the rats or the toxic air will get to him." Said Shadowspirit as he signalled for the rest of the patrol to go back to camp.

Rats watched from the piles of trash and looked at their offering. They started squeaking in excitement and streamed out of the piles of trash and junk

I could hear squeaking and rustling, I opened my eyes and saw a rat right in front of my face, I hissed and tried to move back, but I hadn't full gained control of my body, so I barely moved.
I felt something walking along my pelt, so I attempted to roll over and shake off the rat, but once again, I barely moved. I felt my strength returning, but it was returning too slow.
I saw masses of rats swarming towards me, I started to breathe faster and I was getting frantic, I tried to stand up again, but I w's only able to life up my front half, leaving my tail defenceless.
A rat raced forward and bit my tail. I yowled and spun around to bite the rat when another rat charged at my front paw. My strength was still returning, but still not fast enough. I prayed to StarClan that I would get out of this alive.

The rats swarmed her all squeaking and stinking of rotting things.

Deerstar went back to the medicine cat hoping to get some poppy seeds

the hills were she was left by smelt like rats and trash and made her stomach hurt even more

Wolfkit nudged Ivyfrost. "They are gone. Momma was there...... but she left." Wolfkit said looking not as strong as he had before

I yowled as loud as I could to hopefully get someone's help. The rats were persistent, biting and scratching me, another rat then bit my tail. I hissed and tried to shake them off, finally gaining control of my backlegs, I ran as fast as I could up the pile of trash, I then rolled down the hill forcing the rats off of me.
I ran out of the carrion place and towards a tree, which I laid down underneath and started licking my wounds before collapsing of exhaustion.
