"Where are you going?! You're going to get yourself killed! You usually go in the opposite direction from the explosions!"

"Jack's probably trying to kill that thing right now. Which won't end well, since that blob is almost as annoying at that turtle. But more hyper."

Hyperjack's already cleared out his side of the cave and comes over to deal with some of the stronger enemies on your side. He raises his eyebrows when he see you and the sword but doesn't question it. You do have a few scraps and bruises and get a few more but they're nothing hindering...mostly anyways.

Kim was smiling slightly. This was kinda fun. She was in a cave, shoving a sword through several monsters. This was a Jurassic change from her boring home life to say the least. She continued to do her best, fending off the monsters, nearly oblivious to the minor damage she was receiving. It seemed that the cave was clearing. Maybe she could ask some questions after.

"Y-Agh!" Phoenix nearly trips as you drag him towards the sounds of explosions (though smaller then the first one) and metal.

When you get there, you see a black-haired teenager wearing a power symbol-marked jacket attempting to fight an overactive blob. He doesn't notice you or Phoenix until Phoenix sticks a finger in his mouth and blows a shrill whistle at the teenager, who jumps back and almost throws his sword at the two of you. THe blob gets away and disappears from view, probably hiding or wrecking havoc. Probably both.

"What the heck, Al? I almost had him!" Hyperjack complains. "Now there's one more monster running around the place instead of staying in the Foldings!"

"THat wasn't a new creature from HeroLeauge." Phoenix shrugs.

Hyperjack has an expressipon of confusion, then disbelief. "What do-wait, what are you doing here and who is she?" He pints his sword at your chest.

Angel isn't fazed. She crosses her arms over her chest. "I'm here to save the blob you just tried killing!" She shoved the sword aside, careful not to cut herself

Soon the cave is clear. You have a nuber of injuries but nothing too sever. What few are bleeding, Hyperjack pours a healing potion over and so nyou look mostly fine. "Not bad for a rookie." he grudgingly admits.

Phoenix facepalms. "Geez girl, I told you, that thing is a glitch. Not a sentimental being. It has advanced AI and that's why it acts like a real thing."

"Glitch? If that thing is glitching this game more then it alreayd is, I swear...." Hyperjack growls. "And why aren't you making yourself dizzy in Terminax anyways?"

"Found this girl while chasing a very annoying glitchy monster. Sent a turtle to the 8th dimension. Now I'm hunting down Nerd so I can sock him in the jaw and hten drag him back to get rid of the turtle." Phoenix summarized.

"Thanks!" She chirped, her face pianted over with a smile. Despite his comment being slightly insulting, she chose to look on the bright side.

The cave was now no ster free for the time being, so now would probably be the best time for questions."Hey, I was just wondering...I get that I am supposed to help somehow, but what exactly is going on?"
