She glared harshly at his departing figure, arms crossings, finger and foot tapping.

The man, however, now that you inspect the pictures, are very thin, frail, and zombie like. Half the face had been rotted over and he was leaning on his broom. The librarian's eyes widen slightly and she looks faint. "Dear... I... Stay here until after hours and we will talk then. Do not and I mean do NOT show anyone else those photos. It's a dangerous world!"

I nod, eyes wide. "What time will it close? And how are these photos dangerous? Also my dog is outside, he is well trained may he come sit with me? I don't want to leave him alone."

Cassie watches him, starting to fall asleep

I continue walking, a little unnerved. I wonder if there was anything else in this world other than snow.

There is a brief pause before you hear more leaves crackling. There is now a steady rhythm running in circles around you. It becomes faster and faster. It sounds close, but you still can't see anything.

He doesn't notice. He continues heading back.

"Wanna race again, slow poke?"
He laughs at you.

"Yes, yes! Your dog can come. Be back at 8. Alright?"

She keeps glancing around, anxious.

You don't notice when you fall asleep. All you know is that you woke. The world looks tired today. The clouds roll over the sky and the trees seem to not try, bending to every breeze. You spot the old man, returning with two dead squirrels. There is a fire going near by.

You keep walking, and eventually you even spot ... more snow.

It's a quiet world full of chaos. In the distance you see a single skinny tree.

Cassis sits up and watches the man. "Do you want help?" She asks touching the dagger at her side
